Awesome coal

Very bad, it has small chunks, hard to ignite it.

I've used Good Charcoal for several months and have been very pleased with the charcoal performance. While the charcoal lumps are a little smaller than other brands, they are consistent in size. They also burn long and with consistent heat output. I have cooked briskets/pork shoulders at low temps and pizzas at high temps. Great performance overall. Also, the love the carry handle at the top of the bag which makes it easy to move the bag. The 27.5 lb bag is also nice while most others are 20 lbs.

This charcoal is AMAZING! I love that this bag has a handle for this big bag. It's very easy to tote. The charcoal it's smells wonderful. Yeah, there were some small pieces but that happens with other bags also. My bag had lots of full wood pieces. They were like limbs from a tree. I have definitely found my go to brand.

The Good Charcoal Company produces great charcoal. This stuff burns very hot and very clean. I love that the lump charcoal is very consistent in size and makes it easy to load my smokers and grills. It doesn't matter if you cook low and slow or hot and fast, this charcoal will perform great.

I have been using this charcoal for several months and greatly enjoy every bit of it. The charcoal burns very hot and is easy to use compared to other brands. I enjoy having friends over for a good BBQ several times a week and they always compliment the flavor left on the meat from the wood smoke. I will continue using The Good Charcoal for the rest of my backyard ventures. I am also a big fan of the sustainability efforts put in place by the company. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to "UP their BBQ".

I am a true fan of this company and the brand! I will never go to another charcoal company. I see a lot of people are complaining about the size but there is a work around it. I had this issue and someone from the company helped fix it through DM. Will be cooking all summer with it! 🦾

Was excited to try wood based natural charcoal. The charcoal pieces inside the bag are so small they burn out and become ash too quickly. So you need to keep adding coals as you cook, which is not an easy process. Need to have bigger pieces to last the whole cookout. The smoke smell and flavor was good. I would not buy again as is but if the pieces are big ones I buy again. Unfortunately the bags are not see through, so you donot know what you are getting!

Best for grilling or smoking. Much better and longer lasting than charcoal briquets.
