Hot stuff. Agree pieces are different sizes compared to my old-time favorites, but worked just as good or better, def less expensive too.

I should have read the reviews. The pieces are way too small for the egg. Will stick to Frontier in the future.

I opened this bag for the first time and it appears to be nothing but charcoal chips. There are no "lump" charcoal pieces. Air flow through my smoker is poor as a result and it is taking forever to light.

Charcoal is terrible. Pieces are so small about 30% falls through the grate. "Lump" charcoal in name only. I'm not sure there's 5 actual lumps in the whole bag. Two stars instead of one because It does smell good when burned

When it comes to a clean burning lump charcoal, look no further. I've tried them all, and no other brand gives me flavor like The Good Charcoal does. Run, don't walk, go get you a bag!
