WOW!!! That handle makes things so much easier!! What a great upgrade for an already fantastic charcoal. I appreciate all this company continues to do for the environment and our communities. 10/10 RECOMMEND!! Even brought a bag over as part of a housewarming gift to our new neighbors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used the standard uniform shaped briquettes before so I was curious how this would compare. Each piece is much lighter than your usual briquette, and they don't have the chemical smell. Due to that I think the flavor is also much better. The bag is very large and I find it's a good value for the price. The only aspect I didn't like was that there was a lot of ash residue, but that may be due the natural wood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my green egg. Great flavor! Durable packaging with handle. Even heat, very little ash residue and good burn time. Cooked t-bones, filet mignon and chicken. All 3 turned out perfect! Awesome quality and quantity.

This charcoal burns hot and clean like most lump charcoals, but the coals are really small. It also has a lot of popping when it starts getting really hot. I've used it for two cooks so far and burned holes in both t-shirts worn those days from the popped embers landing on me. This is definitely not a charcoal you'll want to leave unsupervised when you're getting it up to temp. The flavor it imparts on the food is mild and good.

The Good Charcoal Company makes these large lumps of charcoal that are easy to light and they make my grilling meats tastes great. The burn time is great and lasts long too.

Small pieces. Read other reviews and thought they just got a bad bag NOPE the one i bought was the same. Largest pieces are about the size of a .50 cent piece and that maybe generous. Not sure what Acacia wood is but one thing for sure it is not Mesquite. The handle on the bag is the best thing about product but as soon as you open the bag it goes in the trash. Sorry won't buy if it were half price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lump charcoal from the brand The Good Charcoal is a huge bag and weighs 27.5 pounds. This charcoal is made of premium Acacia hardwood and the bag will last me a long time. The first thing that I noticed as soon as I purchased was the handle on top of the bag. This makes it so convenient to move around, I have never noticed this with other charcoal brands. I really do like how the bag feels, its has a durable material and I can be sure it will not be ripped while storing. The bag was hard to open by hand so I had to use scissors. I also like that this charcoal brand is chemical free which is a lot more safe to use when barbecuing. It has a great clean burn with little ash remaining. This charcoal gets hot and burns clear and extremely efficient and effective allowing temperatures to burn longer. I also like that my eyes don't burn like with other charcoal brands while standing next to the grill. It also doesn't smell like regular charcoal. I really like that the meat comes out more flavorful and delicious. I would highly recommend this product and will continue using it, I think I found the perfect charcoal.

It burns well for a long time, contains no fillers or added ingredients that we wouldn’t want in our food, distributes heat evenly and left our food with a very natural tasty smoky flavor. It was easy to clean up without leaving a lot of ash residue on everything. Will be using for all our summer bbqs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time trying this and I had the pleasure on getting this from influenster and I must say I am very happy with how these coals perform.. They are not your regular charcoals this is actually wood and has a great smell and nice burn time. They last a while and it's great using a chimney starter for these coals..They take about 15-20 min to get fully ready and it leaves the meat a nice and smooth smoky taste..I highly reccomend this product as I have now switched to using these.
