[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far our new favorite lump charcoal. The smell and flavor were outstanding. It’s a little on the pricey side but well worth it. It started quickly in a charcoal chimney. It burned evenly. We cooked breakfast for dinner and it turned out amazing.

I can use a little less than usual for smaller amounts of food that I plan to grill, so I don't need to use as much as I normally would. The lump charcoal is of a nice size and is made without any chemicals or additives. The bag has a handle added at the top for easy carry.

I only took away one star because it was a little bit of a learning curve, and our first meal didn’t come out that great. We did steaks the second time and they came out good! The charcoal clumps were all different sizes but burnt really well, and it made us feel better than it was chemical free! I would buy again!

I have been using this charcoal since I first saw it on the shelve, it really stood out from the rest. I am glad I did, it burns hot an even. As with most lump charcoal its not going to last as long as a briquette but the heat and flavor is perfect for almost any cook. I would definitely recommend this charcoal to any one looking to get the best burn possible.

I have to sadly agree with the others knocking this product. It's inferior to the Frontier brand Sam's sold previously. I didn't have a piece larger than a golf ball in the whole bag, which makes it completely unusable in a kamado style grill. This clearly isn't a transportation problem either as my bag was surprisingly full. The bags were filled with small pieces.
