Great value. Only bad is sometimes when you get a little more than 3/4 of the bag finsihed then the rest is shake.

Good brand of lump charcoal. Uneven chunk sizes but adds good flavor to food. Holds heat and burns pretty. Used chunks can be used again rather than thrown out.

I use this in my large BGE. Good charcoal. Pieces can be small, but that works fine in a BGE. If you have a Weber kettle or something designed for brickets, this is not the stuff.

easy to start with some paper a a charcoal chimney starter. Then it burns very hot and consistent. Very little ash remains. Not an overpowering taste to grilled foods.

Very good and good price

Was excited to try wood based natural charcoal. The charcoal pieces inside the bag are so small they burn out and become ash too quickly. So you need to keep adding coals as you cook, which is not an easy process. Need to have bigger pieces to last the whole cookout. The smoke smell and flavor was good. I would not buy again as is but if the pieces are big ones I buy again. Unfortunately the bags are not see through, so you donot know what you are getting!
