[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very low ash residue,the burn time is excellent the heat distribution was perfect don’t have to worry about burning my steak. The overall flavor it gave the food was yummy, the packaging stands out.

This charcoal burns hot and clean like most lump charcoals, but the coals are really small. It also has a lot of popping when it starts getting really hot. I've used it for two cooks so far and burned holes in both t-shirts worn those days from the popped embers landing on me. This is definitely not a charcoal you'll want to leave unsupervised when you're getting it up to temp. The flavor it imparts on the food is mild and good.

I love how the charcoal gives the meat a nice grilled flavor, the intensity of the burn takes some getting use to, I’m so used to chemically treated charcoal. Overall I would definitely recommend, especially if clean eating/cooking is a priority.

I bought originally a while back, mostly for the price. But I stayed for the quality. Like grilling and bbq onceyoy learn it and get it, well you get it. Burns hot when I want a hot fast cook. And will burn slow If I want to slow cook. Give it a shot. Best bang for your buck. And they have a great cause behind them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A large bag of 27 lbs, this chemical free lump charcoal burns hot and long. Used it for grilling and its smoky flavor in chicken was very good. Burnt longer and clean. With only little ash remains, it burnt for long and stayed hot for longer cooking. The pieces in the bag are mixed sizes.

Love this stuff! I really enjoy how long is lasts and how hot it burns. It does not have a bad taste and I love how I;m not eating and consuming so much chemicals like the other brands. I love what the company stands for and I will be a loyal customer until I burn out in the flames.
