I had no idea this was even a thing. I will say the black bags make it very hard to see how much charcoal is covering the bag when picking it up, watch your clothing! Overall happy with this product.

The ashes are about the same as you would see from charcoal briquettes but the flavor has a nice distinct grilled flavor. The products come packaged in a nice big bag filled With big quality lump charcoal.

Awesome! Long clean burn with minimal ash. I have a large pit, so most of the time I don't make it past 8 hours without a refuel. Initially I used about 2/3 of a bag, and I got a full cook on 4 boston butts and 3 briskets without adding charcoal. It provided a 14 hour burn before I shut the pit down. I'll definitely use this charcoal again and I highly recommend it. I also appreciate the handle.

Picked up a bag yesterday to rry them out. Good smoke flavor and nice steady burn. My main comment is about the size of the charcoal... it's all samller bits and not nearly enough 'lumps'. If you're looking for something with larger chunks of coal , this might not be it.

I have been using The Good Charcoal brand lump charcoal for a while now and compared to the others on the market it is amazing.. It cooks hot, holds consistent temperatures, and lasts a long time!! I haven't even touched my propane grill since I started using this charcoal. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a great product at a great price.

We didn’t have to use a whole package to grill some burgers. The heat distribution is decent as well. I didn’t think the flavor was too strong since charcoal can be overpowering sometimes.

Easy to Light and catches quickly. It is very slow burn so you don't have to change the charcoal out frequently. Great grill taste on food. It burns down well to allow easy clean up.

I usually use my gas grill because well for one reason it’s larger and my wife doesn’t like the taste of charcoal grill food as much. With that being said though, this bag of good charcoal, lump charcoal Works well and perfectly in my small charcoal grill. It burns long and not a steady rate, making my burgers cook evenly at a steady temperature. We added a couple Applewood chips into it as well for extra flavor, but the flavor did not taste like I was eating charcoal, which is a plus.The ash residue was easy to clean.
