Not impressed , small chips no large pieces , left an aftertaste

Wonderful smokey flavor without the lighter fluid taste. This is my new goto for BBQ

before it was better now it has very small pieces

I really want to like this charcoal but I have to say I am 50/50 on it. The PROS: Clean burning with light, easy to clean ash. Great heat to size ratio and I feel it imparts a nice wood smoke flavor to cooked items. CONS: It is like a giant sparkler when in a chimney lighter. So much so that the sparks actually launched a small charcoal ember out the top and onto my grass nearby! The mix of large and tiny bits make it hard for consistency and thus make for uneven heat pile. When you try to push the piece together for indirect cooking, the small charcoal pieces fall through the grate. I suppose if piece where just a bit more consistent, I'd really like this stuff.

HEY I ALWAYS BE IN SAMS AND USE TO PASS BY THIS CHARCOAL ALOT UNTIL THE OTHER DAY I BOUGHT IT AND TRIED IT AND WHEN I TELL U BY FOR THE BEST I HAVE EVER USED FROM FLAVOR TO LONG LASTING . I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYBODY TO GO AND JUST TRY A BAG U WANT REGRET IT .

This is the worst lump charcoal I’ve ever used . Bagful of Small pieces and just not good . I won’t be buying this again!

great product!! too bad they are out of stock. lasted me over 3 big cookouts. id definitely buy again once back in stock

Purchased two bags this spring. Was very disappointed when I opened the bag and found mostly bits and pieces, where are the lumps.! Burns quickly.
