I like the way it burns, but lately there has been more small pieces and a lot of fines. May go back to Royal Oak which has been more consistent.

Horrible. Hard to light. Once lit, hard to control temperature -even on a green egg. Small pieces that don’t allow air flow -DONT BUT IT

This is the best deal I've found on lump charcoal. I've used it quite a bit in a Weber smoky mountain.

Just smoked a Sams club bone in Boton Butt using The Good Charcoal. Very easy to hold temperature in my smoker with this charcoal.

Poor quality. half the bag contained small inch size pieces and dust. Also found a lot of rocks and red brick mixed in.

Its just charcoal, but not lump charcoal. All small pieces, doesn't create too much heat. Burns too quick.

OK Lump but nothing big. All smaller pieces. I prefer Cowboy or Frontier Lump Charcoal but they do not carry it or at least have not in a while.

Good quality, good flavor, but too many fine/small pieces. this is the 2nd bag, so maybe better results to come.

There was no lump inside the bag. It was all in small pieces and a lot of charcoal dust at the bottom. The other brand in the brown before was good.
