The Good Charcoal burns long and hot and is our preferred charcoal for all of our competition BBQ cooks as well as home grilling. It's made of pure acacia wood, is sustainably harvested and is 100% chemical-free. All that and now they have new larger bags with handles at a lower price. It's a great value for a premium product!

I'm not one to complain but purchased this The Good Charcoal Lump last week from Sam's Club and the Lump size is less than a quarter coin in size, there was several pieces about 2" but I have never seen Lump charcoal like this, 3" of Lump dust in the bottom of the bag. Trying to light this Lump in a Chimney starter on on the grill grate much of this Good Charcole Lump falls through the grill grate or Chimney . Sorry for the negative review but it's just the truth, hopefully your company will outsource large wood pieces in the future.

Best bang for your buck. I use a lot of charcoal and I came across this and I’m well pleased.

This isn't lump charcoal, it's more like chip charcoal. What I mean that is 90% of the pieces are so small that it falls through the charcoal chimney before you light it. On clearance I bought a second bag figuring the small pieces were a mistake, nope.

This charcoal supposed to be better than the regular ones, but after opening the bag, the charcoal is so small that u need to use a lot (maybe more) than a regular charcoal bag. The bag is very big, but it's not going to last more than 3 bbq dinners 🙄

This is the worst lump coal I have ever used. The "lump" coal was very small. There didn't appear to be any large chunks of coal. As a result, this coal foes not last long and you need to use more than twice the coal to get the same results that you would get from other brands.

We use this often for our business. If Sam's club was closer we would buy this every time we lit the smoker for catering.

The charcoal is not for bbq the piece is to small

This is my second bag and just like the first most of the limp is broken down to small pieces and dust. No prows larger than a golf ball. Due to small pieces it does not burn clean as not enough air flow is cut off.

I’m not a hard core barbaque guy. So I’m not a good judge versus charcoal other that you need a chimney to start them without fluid. They seem to do the job.
