Hey Thomas, thanks for the honest feedback.<br />Lump charcoal is going to have a natural mix of sizes since it&#39;s 100% hardwood Acacia with nothing added to compress or shape it uniformly. On the flavor side, Acacia is actually one of the densest hardwoods out there with a mild clean burn by design. That&#39;s intentional. It gives you a perfect base to add your own wood chunks and build exactly the flavor profile you want without competing wood flavors getting in the way and overcomplicating things.<br />That said we&#39;d love to understand what you received a little better because what you&#39;re describing doesn&#39;t line up with what our charcoal typically delivers.
