Hey, thanks for the feedback and sorry these bags let you down.<br />Two bags of mostly bits and pieces isn&#39;t what you should be getting, and that much small stuff usually points to a rough ride in handling before it reached you. Our charcoal is 100% hardwood Acacia with nothing added, so sizes vary naturally, but you should still be seeing plenty of real lumps in there.<br />On the quick burn, that mostly comes down to airflow. Acacia is one of the densest hardwoods out there so it wants to run hot, but that&#39;s where you can take control. Dial back your vents and you can hold a long clean even burn instead of letting it rip. Once it&#39;s dialed in it goes a lot further than you&#39;d expect, even with smaller pieces.<br />Send us a few photos at hello&#64;thegoodcharcoal.com and let us know which Sam&#39;s Club you grabbed them from and we&#39;ll get you taken care of.
