Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback.<br />A bag this size should give you a good mix with some solid larger chunks in there, so a whole bag of nuggets isn&#39;t what you should be ending up with. That much uniformity on the small end usually means a bag took a rough ride in handling before it got to you, and that&#39;s worth us looking into.<br />One thing worth knowing on the burn. Our Acacia is some of the densest hardwood you can cook over, so it wants to run hot, but that&#39;s actually where airflow becomes your friend. Dial back your vents and you can really control it, holding a long clean even burn with little to no flare ups or sparks. Once you get it dialed in it goes a lot further than you&#39;d expect. And it&#39;s not your typical charcoal source either. We harvest Acacia bush, not old growth trees, which clears overgrowth that&#39;s been choking out native grasslands. That effort has restored habitat across an area about the size of Texas and even helped bring some cheetah populations back from the critically endangered list. It&#39;s the same 100% hardwood Acacia, same big lumps you got the first time around. A bag full of little pebbles like you&#39;re describing points to it taking a rough ride in handling before it reached you, not a change in the product itself. Hey Josh, thanks for breaking that down in detail.<br />A little size variation comes with the territory on a natural product like ours, but pellet sized pieces aren&#39;t what you should be getting. It should be recognizable, usable lump charcoal top to bottom, and that&#39;s not what this bag gave you.<br />We&#39;d like to make it right.
