The “lumps” are really rather small pieces of crushed coal, which makes them burn out sooner. So your total available grilling time is cut short. I bought two bags - same result

Good brand of lump charcoal. Uneven chunk sizes but adds good flavor to food. Holds heat and burns pretty. Used chunks can be used again rather than thrown out.

Burns well but lots of smaller pieces so I guess size uniformity is a little off. Bigger pieces are size of baseball, smallest size of pea. Probably shipping and handling is to blame for most of it.

I started using this charcoal and everyone that has had my burgers and steak from the grill tell me they are the best burgers they have had and loves the steak. Cooks at perfect temperatures.

We used to love this charcoal. It was our go to. But this last 2 bags have had small pieces of charcoal and a lot of dust. What happened? Did we just get a bad batch?

Wasn’t much lump, more like tiny pieces of natural charcoal about an inch size.Better off with briquettes . Sams used to carry a different brand that was chunkier and the best

Best Charcoal! Burns fast and clean. consistent heat. I am hoping they continue to have this brand or natural charcoal for future inventory. I have been please with the product since I first tried it in June.

This has not been a good use for me at all. I love grilling and have not been fond of this product one bit. Sadly, it just doesn’t seem good for me. Obviously, try it for yourself before you make a decision!

This charcoal was amazing! Quick lighting and long burning. We lost power for 23 days after Hurricane Helene and had to grill almost our meals. We bought 2 bags and still have over half a bag left. It was a lifesaver !

First time buying it and it's taken forever to get up to temp. Pieces are like chips instead of lump. The smell of the word burning is horrible. I've scrapped the planes cook on my BGE and will use my pellet smoker instead.
