This gives our food a wonderful flavor without the horrible chemicals that other brands use in their products. We grilled on New Year's Day and are excited for the Spring when we can grill more often. We plan to stock up soon.

The bag was filled with nothing but very small pieces of coal. This was nothing but the scraps. I’m used to seeing other brands fill the bottom half with small bits but have larger useable chunks on top. I’ve never seen coal so bad in my life.

It does real good on the lightening part catches quick. Also it burns a lot longer than most charcoal i have used. Going to get some more of this charcoal.

Best charcoal! You only need a little to get a hot fire that lasts. So much better than other name brands! Burn hot but not quickly. My new favorite brand!

This charcoal lives up to it's name. It burns hotter than other charcoal so you dont need as much. The flavor it gives when smoking is similar to post oak. It is fragile though, so take care not to drop the bag.

Purchased the lump charcoal, because I had heard it burns hotter and cleaner than standard briquettes, they weren’t kidding so glad I made the switch to lump charcoal!

Lump charcoal was highly recommended to me by a professional competitive grill chef about ten years ago. He was right. I seldom stray from using it and only do when my wife buys briquets then I mix it in with my lump.

easy to start with some paper a a charcoal chimney starter. Then it burns very hot and consistent. Very little ash remains. Not an overpowering taste to grilled foods.

I can't stress enough how small the pieces were. You'll be lucky to find any pieces longer than 2-3 inches. I was so disappointed I tossed the bag after one use. Never buying this brand again.

If you are looking for a screaming hot grill, this is the answer. We mixed this with regular Kingsford charcoal and it was HOT! Exactly what I needed for my medium rare steaks. Love it!
