Nice grill, moderately difficult to assemble

This is a nice grill, but man, it took myself and my teenage child almost 3 hours to put this together. We did not use the app. For the most part, the regular instructions are pretty clear. (With the exception of running the wiring harness.). You will need at least 3 different sizes of Phillips head screwdrivers, and there is no room to cheat with power tools. It's all by hand. Cooked up pretty good on the first run post burn-in though!

Initial impressions…did we make a mistake? Members Mark “Pro Series” 5 burner grill. 2 Star rating.

Other than the aluminum firebox, stainless lid, stainless cooking grates*, stainless burner hoods*, stainless grates between burners and the decorative fascia pieces the vertical pieces are very tinny. I am thinking rust within a few years. The stainless fascia right and left have very sharp edges, wear gloves. At least 2 of the wheels should have been larger to navigate grass or gravel when moving the grill. * I followed instructions for initial burn in at Hi for 20 minutes. Burner hoods and cooking grated discolored. No disclaimer in instructions, mfg dismisses as normal. I would not purchase this again.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Please note there are cleaning tips and maintenance instructions in your user manual (beginning on page 16) for how to care for the outer steel/stainless steel parts, as well as interior parts (such as cooking grates, burners and lid) in order to get the longest life out of your grill.

Your feedback regarding the sharp edges and size of the casters has been noted. Your feedback is important to us.

Please Note: Many brands of grills come with stainless steel cooking grates. On a brand new grill they will start out shiny and beautiful. It’s not uncommon for stainless steel cooking grates to lose their shiny appearance after as little as one use of your grill.

Due to the high heat they are exposed to, and the properties of stainless steel, they may take on a yellowish colour. Some grates will turn darker colors, such as brown or black, as debris from cooking builds up.

Brushing the cooking grates to keep them clean is recommended, but it’s very important to realize the grates will never look like they did before they were used. The good news is some minor buildup on the grates is beneficial, as it helps prevent food from sticking to them.

Really clean, shiny, unused stainless steel grates can are more prone to sticking food (which is why your user manual indicates "It is possible to coat with vegetable or canola oil for added protection, but this is best done when the grates are not in the firebox and using a paper towel.")
Tip: If additional seasoning is required, try adding oil to your food.

Member’s Mark items carry a 100% member satisfaction guarantee. Unless you wanna spend 8 hours putting it together make it a hard pass. Also the igniter doesn’t work.

Excellent quality grill

Had this for a little over a year now, worth every penny. Quality is top notch compared to other high-end models, and very heavy duty as well.

I should have bought a Weber

I purchased this grill on Oct.19, 2021. The assembly was time consuming but relatively uncomplicated. The video helped. However ever since I started cooking with it I have had (2) problems. These are: 1) The grate at the back of the grill is hotter than the front. I found no way to remedy the situation other than switching food from the back to the front and front to the back which is what I am doing. 2) The drip pan is small for this sized grill. Also if the grill is not covered and it rains, the drip pan overflows into the bottom of the grill and onto my deck. This problem occurs when I cook while it is raining or snowing, when I cook and it rains while the grill is cooling before covering it and, when I cook and I forget to cover it and it rains. I am thinking of replacing the drip tray with a 2-gallon metal bucket in place of the (2) wires that go from the back of the grill to the bottom under the drip tray. This solution should make the grill tolerable. I would not recommend this grill.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review with your feedback and experience. If you're experiencing more heat at the front of your grill than the back, you may have a blockage in your burners. Begin by performing a burner flame check. The burner flame pattern is the key indicator of proper or improper function within the cook system. When the burners are performing correctly you will see a specific flame pattern. All burner ports should be 2.5 cm/ 1" flame on "HI" with orange tips, light blue center, with a darker blue flame at the base of the burner port. Perform Burner Maintenance. (Page 15 of your manual) 1. Use a clean grill brush to clean the outside of the burner.2. Remove the hitch pin and pin used to secure the burners to the burner box. Use pliers if necessary.3. Lift burners out slightly, exposing the burner venturi. Be careful not to damage or disconnect the electrode connector.4. Use a pipe cleaner or flexible Venturi Brush to clean the interior of all burners. Shake any loose debris out of the burner.5. Use a wire or paper clip to clean burner port holes. Do not use anything that can damage or enlarge port holes.6. Use a clean soft bristle brush to clean spider/ insect screens.7. Reinstall, ensuring that the burner orifice is placed over the gas jet correctly.Your feedback regarding the size of the grease tray has been noted. Please note that the size of the grease tray can hold around 1.2-1.5 liters of liquid/grease. This grease tray size was chosen because 1.2 liters should be more than enough for 1 cook, and encourages users to empty the grease tray often, to avoid a grease fire. More than 1.2-1.5 liters of grease would be a safety hazard.Always cover your Grill (once it has cooled to room temperature) with the provided all weather grill cover, to protect from all elements. This will help stop the rain from getting into your grease tray, help avoid rust, as well as protect the outer stainless steel components from deterioration.Should you have any questions, or require assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at the number on your manual, or by reaching out to the Member's Mark Help Center toll free at: : (888) 301-0332 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. CST Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST on Sundays. Rotisserie

The grill itself appears to be a good product despite some of the parts being of cheap quality. Assembly is straight forward. My biggest beef at this time is there does not appear to be a rotisserie available and I have not found a number to call for more information. For me this is a deal breaker. I may have to return the grill if I cannot find a rotisserie.

Best Grill Ever

I had a MM grill for 15 years and it was still working well, but I wanted the advantage of stainless steel grates. Love the new grill, easy to put together, so well constructed, screws were high quality and well machined, engineered well and everything fit tight. We grill 4-5 days a week in good weather and have used it to cook just about every kind of meat and vegetable we typically eat. I have always covered my grill when not in use and I think that is the key to keep the grill in good working order. I also do a brief cleaning of the grates after use.
