Leaking propane

I bought the grill about a year ago and it now goes threw a tank of propane every 6 uses with turning the tank off. Also ignition is starting to be a pain in the butt.

Total Disappointment

Bought this grill just over a year ago. Two days ago, it malfunctioned and went up in flames. Luckily, we pulled the tank off and doused it with water quickly and avoided an explosion or catching our deck on fire. It literally MELTED the welds on a grate and cracked a hole in the belly of the grill. We've kept our grill clean and maintained. This product is disappointing junk for a price tag well over five hundred bucks.

I love this grill

I totally disagree with clyde152 on the packaging. As a retired manufacturing manager for a Fortune 300 company I totally understand the warranty costs. I picked my grill from the store and was amazed at its weight. Yes the packaging is extensive but the grill was in pristine condition after unpacking. This grill after assembled is so much better than the Webber at 2/3 the cost! Buy this grill and that is after eight months of use four days a week.

Hate it, only good thing about it...it's stainless

We bought this about 18 months ago, used it twice the summer of 2021, didn't use it all 2022, didn't even uncover it! ... it heats uneven, the meat doesn't get any color to it, it's grey looking no matter how long you leave it in there, even doing sear plate first it just doesn't cook right.. nothing like the old gas grills with lava rock. Hate it.. way to much money for what you get!!!

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. The Member's Mark Pro-Series 5 Burner Gas Grill can easily reach temperatures +650F on Max temperature, which is well above searing temperatures. To correct this issue, begin by performing a burner flame check (page 15 of your manual). All burner ports should have a 2.5 cm/ 1" flame on "HI" with orange tips, light blue center, with a darker blue flame at the base of the burner port.If your flames are uneven, perform burner cleaning/maintenance as shown in your manual (page 15-17). If this does not correct this issue, please perform a regulator reset (page 9 of your manual). For your convenience, I've included a link below to our YouTube channel, where you can find videos for additional troubleshooting, step-by-step instructions, recipes and more!https://www.youtube.com/c/MembersMarkGrills/videosShould you require assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to us at the number on your manual, or by reaching out to the Member's Mark Help Center a call toll-free at: (888) 301-0332 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. CST Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST on Sundays. Please have the item number from your receipt, the serial number, the product UPC and/or the product description ready to provide to our Member Care Professional. Hope this helps!

1 year review

I've used this grill regularly,5 days a week, about 4 hours a day, for about a year. I'll try to be as unbiased as I can be in this review. Pros This grill uses a thick aluminum tub that everything sits inside. It does a good job at insulating the ignition wiring from flare ups that burn other grills. It also reduces the flex in the grill eliminating warping that some other all-steel grills suffer from. The cover is a cotter pin instead of a nut and bolt so it doesn't come loose. It's a lot easier to clean than other grills. The grill itself gets less dirty and most surfaces can be wiped easily. It's a lot more durable than any other grill we've had. Easily. All burners still work. Ignition still works. Cons This grill is heavy. The thick aluminum makes this grill very top heavy. It is very easy to bend the stamped steel mounting points the wheels are attached to which are not welded on all sides. Slight sideways pressure is enough to warp the mounts. Moving it will warp the sides. If you plan on moving it regularly, you'll need to have a plan for when the wheel breaks as well as assemble it with bolts and washers instead of the phillips screws it comes with. It uses a lot of gas. To get similar performance as other grills it uses almost twice as much propane. Because the grill is 1 piece, it will catch fire if you don't let it burn periodically as with all grills but this one in particular. There's no cracks for grease and oil to escape so you have to let it burn or clean it. Overall, I recommend it if you'll be doing a lot of grilling but pass if you're going to grill for only football season or something. Get a cheaper grill for occasional use.
