Easy to assemble! You can tell the right away the quality of the material compared to other grills. The stainless steel grills are very heavy and solid. Maintains a consistent temp and cooks evenly.

DO NOT BUY but if you do, read the warranty very carefully. It is apparent that Sams club is aware of fires resulting from this grill from the lighter tubes. I still don’t believe that this is what cause my fire because we had inspected ours but the customer service agent I spoke with said that complaints of fires were common and my claim was not under warranty because it more than likely resulted from a spider in the tube. You heard that right: the customer service agent said FIRES are common in this grill and when I asked if intense fires in a matter of seconds that melt the hood/lid, metal grates, and all of the firebox, and sides of The grill…he said that sounds consistent with a spider. Make your own decision about this grill but buyer beware Sam’s admits that fires are common with this grill.

Flashback fires occur when a blockage in the venturi tubes caused by spiders, insects and nests blocks the flow of gas, forcing it back towards the control panel and control knob. This issue is common in all BBQs, of all brands. Please visit your manual for more information of how to perform burner maintenance to avoid these types of fires from taking place. Great grill for the price. On #2.
I do ALOT of cooking on my grills. I'm on my 2nd one of these and will buy a 3rd once this one has run it's course. Good heat output is what I like the best. To compliment this grill I recommend buying seperately a set of "grillgrate" They do not rust and retards flameup.

Regret this purchase
Not as impressed as reviews lead me to believe. I regret not buying new guts for my 12 y/o Weber Genesis. This Sam’s grill doesn’t have a propane tank gauge so an unexpected empty tank is inevitable. The small drip pan isn’t adequate for a 5 burner grill. The back is open so if you forgot to put cover on it and a storm kicks up the nasty drippings pan dislodges for a greasy mess. I’m considering returning as much as I hate to do that.

Tip: Another option to check the propane cylinder for fuel is to weigh your tank. Along the collar of your propane tank there will be the letters 'TW' followed by a number. (Usually around 16.6) This number will tell you the tare weight of the propane cylinder itself. A 20lb propane cylinder can hold 20lbs of propane. Meaning, you would add the number on the collar of your propane tank to 20 to get the weight of a you tank when full. Example 16.6 + 20 = 36.6lbs when full. The good news is, this method will give you a more exact reading than most fuel gauges! Please note that the size of the grease tray can hold around 1.2-1.5 liters of liquid/grease. This grease tray size was chosen because 1.2 liters should be more than enough for 1 cook, and encourages users to empty the grease tray often, to avoid a grease fire. More than 1.2-1.5 liters of grease would be a safety hazard. Always cover your Grill (once it has cooled to room temperature) with the provided all weather grill cover, to protect from all elements. This will help stop the rain from getting into your grease tray, help avoid rust, as well as protect the outer components from deterioration. Hope this helps, we want you to love your grill!
Hate it!!!!
Took forever to put together, heats unevenly, everything sticks to the stainless steel grates. One of the doors also gets stuck and you have to lift it to close it. I tried to return it but they didn't accept it at the store. Now I'm stuck with a grill that I hate

why buy a Webber!!
I’ve had a Webber 4 burner, it was great, but when I moved I gave it to my daughter. So I purchased this one because it seemed to be a Webber clone, and it is. It’s just as good as a Webber! I will never spend $1,400 on a grill again as long as MM keeps producing quality like this! I had to call customer service because the electrode that ignites the sear station was broken, I received a new one within a few days! Cooked burgers, dogs, chicken and steaks, I even seared 2” ribeyes then slow cooked them, indirectly at 220 for about an hour came out awesome!
Grilling Like a Boss!!
After several exhausting hours doing the research on various grills and infrared pros and cons I settled on this awesome grill. It has a side infrared cooker which is essential to get that initial searing to both sides of your food. This one works great! Assembly…is a bit tedious but went faster cause I have a battery operated screw gun. It’s not necessary but did make it go faster. The BILT app was very easy to follow. I bought, assembled, and got my first use all in day one. I washed the grates (anything that food touches) with hot soapy water and a scrub brush. Then everything got turned on (except my wife) for 15 minutes at the hottest setting. This is per instructions and gets rid of the manufacturer oils, etc. I had some pork chops that begged to be seasoned, fondled with rub (the only fondling in my life), and then seared with infrared and finally set on the regular grill area. They turned out fantastic! They also cooked faster without burning. Can’t wait to try steaks! The grill is super easy to use once assembled and feels like quality materials were used with thoughtful design. Even my wife was impressed! Was that a gleam I caught in her eye!! :)
