[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a lemon, or a piece of junk. This dryer has been nothing but a source of aggravation ever since I purchased it. We keep on getting this flashing “gas” error. The dryer stops 25 to 30 minutes into its cycle with gas error flashing. It does not generate any heat, everything is still wet. We had a plumber check the gas line, everything is fine—our gas stove and gas water heater have no issues. An LG tech replaced the dryer’s gas valve—same issue. My mom suffers from dementia, laundry is a necessity in our house. To get this repaired, I have to pay a plumber to disconnect the gas line from the dryer, pay someone to bring it down from its platform, once the maintenance is done, pay for the reverse process. At this point, as soon as I have the money, I’ll get a new dryer , and hope to have better luck. My last dryer lasted over 15 years before the motor gave out. Buyer beware!!

This is my second LG dryer, it's still working fine it's at another house. This one is different than it connects to the water faucet the nold one filled a container. I do like the way the older model heats the water and streams up this just wets the clothes and then dries them, glad the rest is still the same

Bought this as part of a washer/dryer pair to replace a 4 year old LG all-in-one washer/dryer combo unit whose drain pump was replaced 3 times. We finally gave up and bought these units. If they prove to be durable and dependable then they will earn my unqualified recommendation as they are quiet, fast, wash & dry really well, and have great features. Just a bit skittish given our past experience with an LG product..

So it had to have lasted at min 15 Years which is awesome. This NEW ONE IS PHEMONOMAL. I'm so happy we were able to get another LG. We picked up the matching Dryer too (Although our older LG Dryer was working fine however we had to make them Match...LOL)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned our LG washer and dryer for about a month and a half, and so far we really enjoy the washing machine. It gets clothes clean, it’s fast, and the notifications when a cycle ends via the LG app are great! The dryer has been a mixed bag. In actuality, I’m pretty disappointed that we had to have it serviced already by an appliance technician who replaced the main board and heating element because the dryer wasn’t producing hot air and was giving an error code indicating poor airflow even when the vent was completely disconnected and wide open. I’m hopeful that this was a one-off problem with the dryer, and that the favorable reviews provided by the likes of Consumer Reports actually portray the reliability of this machine from here on. I can’t say I would recommend from personal experience for others to buy this machine, though.

We bought this washer knowing it was fabulous to use in cleaning our clothes, as before we moved from Arizona to Montana we had purchased the same set for our home there and loved how well it cleaned our clothes, and is so easy to use too! We also bought the matching dryer in each place. We didn't want to move our first set as we were concerned about it getting scratched or dented while in the moving van!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was in need of a new Washer & Dryer as my old set was close to 20 years old. After doing some research I decided on going to this front loading LG electric dryer that was WiFi enabled. I had removed the old dryer and thoroughly cleaned the dryer vent. I did have trouble with frequently getting the error code d80 when drying large loads of items like towels. Made sure the dryer vent was not collapsed or kinked and that the dryer vent was not clogged. Checked the dryer vent cap on my roof and as it turned out it was too small and was installed improperly when my house was built. I found and purchased a new, larger and much better vent cap for the roof. Had a roofer change it out problem and was completely resolved. No more error codes and clothes dried faster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG washer to replace and older washer in my new house. I have had LG in the past and loved them. The washer does great at cleaning the clothes. The energy savings alone is enough to buy the washer.

Purchased as a set just over a month ago. Had a older LG dryer that ran great but washer had issues to upgraded to new set. This dryer is ok but find to fully dry a load I have to use heavy duty setting instead of normal. Do like that I have the set linked to my phone and know when cycle is done

It has all the features I want especially all the steam features which my previous dryer didn't have. It's so easy to use, runs quiet, and handles any size of loads even large bulky comforters, pillows, etc. Clothes get dry in one cycle which is a huge energy and time saver. This hands down is the best dryer I've ever owned! I've already recommended it to several friends who are in the market for a new dryer.
