Great washer & Dryer
This is our second LG stackable washer and Dryer, we purchase our firsrt pare 13 years ago and they needed reparts. So we decided to purchase new ones, the size and the pedestals so I do't have to bend over at age 76.

Rhythmic Noise
I really do love this washer and dryer.....however, there is one anomaly. The dryer works wonderfully, but makes a continuously rhythmic light clicking sound. The dryer drum is designed in such a way that the outside ridges of the drum "knock" lightly against part of the frame, or something like that. LG sent out an amazing LG expert. All is well, but the noise. We have to close a door we had not had to close with the old set.

Okay after Warranty Issues Resolved.
Had an issue with the door not staying closed. Took 2 service calls to address. Other than that it seems to be good for now. I enjoy the washer. They are not built like the old appliances so time will tell on the durability. I like the energy and water saving features and they clean better than my old units.

Weak Drums
The dryer looks good, drys great and has a good capacity but UNFORTUNATELY for me and according to the internet many others it has a major flaw. Specifically the dryer drum, the weld seam on the drum cracked. Again unfortunately for me I didn't notice exactly when this happened so by the time we noticed an issue the warranty was up, missed it by a few months. Now I've owned a few dryers in my time and I expect some of the drum rollers, belt, electrical components or possibly a heating element to need replacing but never would I have expected a dryer drum to be the first thing to go. Maybe it's luck of the draw I don't know but do a little research and decide if you're willing to risk the issue.

Bad dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly cannot give a good review for this product since it has not been working correctly since I purchased it this past summer. It does not dry if towel or a large load is put in it. After 3 cycles of (3 hours) the clothes are still damp. If I put in only a few items they dry great.

Doesn't dry clothes
After an hour of drying, my clothes are still damp. I put it on speed dry for another 25 minutes to hopefully get dry clothes. With the cost of electricity to run it and the aggravation it causes, it's not worth the money.

Lint Compartment Ruins Clothes
I HATE this dryer. No matter how much I clean out the lint compartment, it doesn't stick in. Therefore, I just had multiple tank tops and bras completely ruined and stretched out because they get caught on the lint compartment won't shut all the way. This has been going on for over a year and no matter how much I clean it, it never goes in.

Disappointing Dryer
I have been highly disappointed with this LG dryer. Despite the premium price and features, my clothes consistently come out tightly balled up and heavily wrinkled, which defeats the purpose of having a modern dryer. On top of the poor drying results, the control interface and features are overly complicated and not user-friendly. I expected much better performance and ease of use from an appliance in this tier.

Bad Dryer at High Price
The dryer never worked correctly. Clothes always ended up in a wrinkled ball in a corner of the dryer. S=Dealer couldn't fix so were ended up dumping it.
