[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dryer for about a month and have easily learned our way around the options, I was a bit intimidated at first. I'm a fan of the little song it plays when my load is done. All my laundry easily fits, including our king comforter. We can get our girls' cloths done in one load! I have noticed that when I set it to "normal" dry it does leave some items slightly damp. I know a lot of people prefer this, so items don't shrink, but I am used to drying my items all the way dry. When this happens I just do the timed dry at 20 minutes and it takes care of any damp items. I've also had the opportunity to use the steam function. I can say it definitely works as an assistant to getting wrinkles out! I had a badly wrinkled cardigan, I tossed it in the dryer on steam and I was impressed how it came out. You will need to let the steam function run its full course to see results. The unit is VERY quiet. I leave the laundry room door open and the sound doesn't interfere or overwhelm us, like our old dryer. I am really happy with this dryer and I look forward to trying out even more features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My set is still new, but so far I love both the washer and dryer. This dryer has steam settings on it which are amazing. The steam fresh setting is so convenient and quick for de-wrinkling clothes without ironing, etc. It drys things quickly and according to the many various choices of settings. I love the color and options.

We received the washer and dryer and were disappointed when the hot water ran and did not stop with the unit off. There were so many issues with delivery it’s not even funny but not the manufacturer’s fault. Once replaced, the new washer had a dent in the side. We accepted it and did receive a discount but after two weeks we needed clean clothes! So far, both units are working great and we have no complaints. Washer spins so well the clothes feel almost dry coming out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first LG dryer purchase was a gas unit. It had to be converted to propane but because of a very poor design, my husband could not change out the orifice from gas to propane. Therefore, I had to exchange it for an electric. LG company was notified of this problem and hopefully there will be a design change. Most dryers have a little door on the side of the dryer but this one did not. We had to basically take apart the dryer from the top to the front panel. Not good. I do love my electric dryer and am grateful for the Flow Sense indicator telling me there was a restriction in the venting. Sure enough our venting was clogged up terribly. Our venting goes through our roof and out and it was clogged badly after 15 years in this home. So, that is an incredibly good feature. It is quiet and has many drying options. I am very pleased. The color is beautiful in a gray/black.

Overall I'm happy with this dryer. It does its job. My only wish is that it were easier to use the manual settings (for example, choosing heat level). Twisting the knob rotates you through a large assortment of presets, but if you want to tell the thing what to do it's trickier. You can adjust some of the settings on some of the presets, but not all of them, and the simple act of rotating the knob has become a bit irritating because there's a significant time lag between turning the knob and the computer switching over to the next preset, so what should take less than a second takes more than a few. Again, I'm happy with it overall and don't feel a need to replace it, but this seems like it might be a pretty simple thing to improve and I wish they already had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to move our washer and dryer upstairs. I have been very pleased with both and feel that it does a better job than my previous washer and dryer, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Purchased the washer/dryer pair to replace a 12 year old set. Installation was complicated since I need side venting and there are no drawings of dryer vent placement. My wife is visually impaired and appreciates the ease os selecting a cycle. Since the machines are at the opposite end of the house from where we usually hang out, the Internet connection telling me when cycles are complete is very helpful. Only installed for a few weeks but like the end results, clothing comes out clean much quicker than our previous machines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first LG washer and dryer lasted 11 years even with heavy use several times a week with no problems. We have had other products that did not work as well or last as long so it was not a hard decision on what to buy again.

I bought this washer a month ago, and I am thrilled with the laundry results! The technology is great! My clothes come out without being stretched, wrung or soggy and then dry beautifully. There is so much this washer can do, and I am very pleased learning all the features!

The LG online help center is also useless. I do not like being unable to adjust the temperature on the various settings...!
