[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the LG WashTower for about a month now and love the look and compact size of the machine. Unfortunately, I am VERY VERY disappointed in its washing capabilities. It simply does not get my clothes clean. I've run a few test washes where I will lightly soil a light towel or old shirt (and I mean lightly soil with a spot of juice) and even after pretreating, washing on HEAVY SOIL setting, with 2 Extra Rinses the spot is still very much there. The clothes don't even smell clean. I assumed maybe there was a problem with the installation so had an LG tech come out and run some tests. The tech confirmed the machine is working as it should be. If you want an aesthetically pleasing washer dryer combo appliance, this fits the bill. If you want a decent washing machine that actually washes your clothes. I'd go in a different direction.

This unit is fabulous. Compact, efficient and powerful at getting the job done well. I am enthusiastically satisfied Look no further, this is 10/10!

I purchased this at first just to for space saving as i redidy launched room. HOWEVER this machine is awesome. Features controls look and wifi makes this machine one of the best appliance thus far. Im washing everyday. The interactions with my home devices makes this unique and awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this tower for maybe 7-8 months and it is covered in scratches. From what??? The only thing we can think of is maybe zippers and buttons from our kids clothes??? Why would this scratch so easy??? We are very very disappointed because we designed our laundry room around this machine. We would like it replaced. We live in a brand new home and this looks like a used machine. Sooooo horrible!! As far as functionality we are pleased outside of a few small features we can’t seem to figure out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a 70 year old woman who has had a multitude of washers and dryers through my life - this is hands down my favorite washer and dryer ever! First, it looks like a million dollars (I ordered the black steel color). It is so sleek and elegant. Love the all digital controls in the middle. The capacity is larger than my previous full sized name brand stackables. I really appreciate the quiet operation since the unit is located in an open area right off my bedroom. The controls are very intuitive - I never had to read the instruction manual. Also, the washer can handle the tiniest load and still spin out all the excess water. I can't say how often I had to remove still dripping wet clothes from my previous washer because it was incapable of balancing small loads! It does a great job of washing and drying. Couldn't be any more pleased with it - GREAT DESIGN!!!

Our 4 year old Samsung washer started having problems with stopping during various Our I had purchased matching Samsung washer/dryer 4 years ago and had problems with the washer. A technician came out and determined there was a short problem. He said he would order the part and come back out in a week. We then received a letter from Lowe's saying it would cost more to repair it than it was worth so they refunded our purchase price. I'm not buying anymore Samsung appliances since I've had nothing but problems with them. This situation required me to do some research for a new washer. We had stacked our Samsung washer and dryer due to limited space so I wanted another stackable combo unit. I decided to go with LG this time since I've had better luck with their products. I then found this new designed one piece washer/dryer unit so I purchased it from Home Depot this time (online purchase). This combo one-piece unit is 2 inches shorter than the previous Samsung washer/dryer stackable separate units and 1 inch less deep so it fit my space very well. I use a gas dryer and I did the installation myself and luckily no water or gas leaks! This single combo-unit runs well and they are quieter than the old Samsung separate units. I like the sleek design of this new LG combo unit and how the close the washer and dryer controls are. It looks very stylish and has operated very well so far. I would definitely recommend this unit for those who have space issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have an LG Washer and Dryer in our former home for years. They were fantastic and worked flawlessly. We moved to our new home and just replaced our old upright Kenmore units and got the LG Washtower. It is just great. The clothes are so clean and soft. We didn't realize how well the LG's work until we didn't use them the last year. We're glad to be back.

I've had my machine for a little over a year now and have tried trouble shooting before leaving any reviews in case of user error, but I keep noticing the same things. The dryer portion does not dry thoroughly if you're doing more than one load of laundry per day without changing the settings(bedding setting works best I've found). The washer portion worked fine for a few months then stopped draining entirely leaving clothes sopping wet. Had a tech come from where we bought it and he said there was nothing wrong with the machine. I have to empty the front drain of water after every load so that it would drain properly. When the wash first starts half of the soap is wasted right into the door gaskets because the jets trickle down the glass regardless of how full or empty the drum is. I've found work around but would not recommend this machine to anyone looking. Tl;dr decent machine if you don't mind DIY workarounds to get the best use out of it. Slim and attractive design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wash tower is a excellent choice I had two appliances taking up space this gave me enough room for a clothes folding table and nice laundry soap storage I have had a few washing machines over the last 35 years this one by far gives you the most clean clothes I've ever had come out of any washer by a long shot they smell good without scented detergents I use plant based detergents for my septic system and no fabric softners..I like that your phone alerts you clothes are washed and dried and you can even turn it off and on with your phone..The dryer is good but for some reason doing bedding I have to run on very dry to ensure my comforter has no damp spots when the dry cycle is complete.. If your on the fence I wouldn't hesitate to buy again very quiet very nice and efficient

I like the size. My issue, and strongly is not able to set to cold easily. Have to download app which when I bought I didn't think that was a prerequisite. I need a stacking unit , and I need to not use a stool. The center controls are great. I don't have control of my own machine, frustrates me. AI is good for some things but only if it is set up properly.
