I just recently purchased the Westinghouse generator so I can use it to power my entire house when the power is out. I plan on connecting it up to a whole house power switch. Unit was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Easy to setup and started immediately! It's a fairly heavy unit and appears well built. Can't wait to use the natural gas option!

Just bought this machine after much research. It arrived promptly and with no damage. Easy to assemble and I was surprised at how easy it is to move around. Key fob paired, battery charged, oil added. Pian to start it tomorrow. Will let you know how that goes.

Bought this generator a few weeks before Hurricane Beryl hit Houston. This generator is a beast. Powers a 2700sqft home with a 4ton AC unit no problem. I travel for work and have no hesitation knowing this will fire right up for my wife when I am gone. Pause the AC for an hour and we have no problem running the washer and dryer.

Unit arrived well packed with easy to follow assembly instructions, although there really is not much assembly required. I’ve not used the generator yet, but my next door neighbor has the exact unit and it powered his entire home during last summers hurricane power outages. I plan on having my natural gas line ported and will use natural gas rather then propane or regular gas. All in all this looks to be a better option than some of the higher priced installed home generators.

Our electrician installs generators often here in the Houston area and had, until yesterday, recommended a competitor. He’s switching to recommend this one - he said it’s the best he’s seen for home use and capable of powering our whole house (and at a fair cost).

I received this generator yesterday(4/22/25). It's heavy at 250 lbs.+. Easy to install wheels. foot bumpers and add the included oil. Only going to use propane and was easy to follow basic instructions. A few cranks on the pull rope to get things moving then used the electric start button and zoom it went. After 15 min. idle, I plugged in a 15 amp air compressor which fired right up easily. I was impressed. I ran it for one hour. Today I put on twice the load(30 amps) total and could hear a bit of pull down, but did great for another hour. Happy power. It's more loud than I expected, but not deffening.

product well packaged; front support bracket slightly bent but not a problem; instructions simple to follow; covers for outlets flimsy but should last if careful; compact with access to everything good; starter seemed weak; have not run devise under load yet, but see no reason to expect a problem...yet. If all goes well after break-in, we will comment again later.

Just received my new WGen10500TFc. It came packed very well. I had it out of the box, put together and running in 30 minutes. Fired right up on propane. I intend to hook it up with the 50 amp outlet to the house. Have not done this yet but very exited about it. Stand by for further updates!

We finally have our first backup generator to have on hand for power outages. The plan is to have our panel updated to accept the 50A plug to run bare essentials for the house during extended power outages. For now, I wanted to make sure it would start up and work. This item is heavy. At least 2 people needed to lift and move it around while in the box. Once home, assembly was VERY straight forward and not complicated. I finally had time today to fire it up for the first time. I decided to try propane, since I had a cylinder ready to go and didn't want to have to drain the float/tank for just a trial run. With the propane connected, I pressed the Start button for 2 seconds, you can hear clicking going on, it tried to start. It didn't. It proceeded to try again on its own and it started up the 2nd time (I'm sure it's due to air in the line for the propane feed). I plugged in the garage fridge via extension cord just to put a light load on it and it ran fine. 30 minutes of running, no issues. Shut down per the instructions, cooled it off, then back in the garage it goes. I'll find time over the next few weeks to run it 30 mins to an hour just to get the break-in hours done (no more than 50% load) so that when the power is really out, it will be ready to go full power. Honestly, for the available wattage, you can't beat this price compared to DuroPower.

Received this a few weeks ago, I haven't used it yet since there was a lot of new electrical work that was needed before I could test this out. It looks sturdy and I like the fact there is multiple options for fuel. Will leave an updated review when I put this to use, hoping not too soon since I prefer not to be in a power outage.
