Initially intimidated by its heft but it was not too hard to get set up. Needed two people to get the wheels and braces on. One that can hold the machine up and one to place and screw on the braces. It is heavy, 250lbs so glad we had it delivered. We love the key fob start. Can’t wait to need to use it!

I bought this after hurricane Helen. I was volunteering in North Carolina with people whose Bower was out for months and decided it was time to invest. I like that I can connect it and run my whole house. I also like that I can connect it to natural gas and LP. I like everything about this unit but the start up instructions. They could be a little better, for instance the utility of the breaker and how it works, as well as the little buttons under the receptacles.

Well, we had a huge storm coming in the weatherman, said it was gonna be the worst than the history of the world. Turns out we had a couple inches of sleet. We were grateful. If it had iced up the way Chris Justus thought it would we would’ve needed this generator absolutely. Turns out we haven’t had to use it yet, but it looks like a really nice machine and we’ll be prepared next time.

We just bought and had an electrician set up a switch for us. Since we have a gas line in our backyard, the TriFuel model was recommended. We live in a 1,500 SF home and - when tested on that gas - the generator seemed stout enough to run our entire home. Full disclosure: we have not had to use it to the fullest extent (for more than the time to test) as we haven’t encountered a power outage yet. The true test will come when a storm leaves us without for a day or two. The reason for the 4 star vs the 5 star is because as strong and might as this machine seems, I do wish there was a way to muffle the sound a bit. We have neighbors that may care how audible it is - hopefully we can pacify any disturbance they have with the offer of coming over and “riding out the storm” with us.

I purchased this generator based on the reviews of other satisfied customers. Unboxing and set up was simple as well as the operating instructions. I love the display panel set up and the remote starting and tri-fuel features. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. I'm still breaking mine in, so I will update this review if needed. So far, I'm very pleased.

We were looking for an electric start generator after having a pull start generator for years. We love the ease of operation, all at the push of a button! We don't want to lose power, but if we do, we are READY! Big easy to use handle and ample size wheels to move this around easily.

We just moved to a little town east of Longmont Co. called Mead. With the weather being so dry this winter and 50 plus mile an hour winds our local power company was having to cut power to many areas to prevent wild fires. Some up to 3 days. We fortunately did not lose our power but this made me think I really need to be proactive and get a generator. Westinghouse has been a solid company for many years and the WGen10500TFc Tri-Fuel with a CO Sensor Fit the bill. We had Titus Electrical come out and install a Generator Interlock Kit and Whole House Surge Protector which allows us to connect to our home and gives us the choice of what needs power with out having to use extension cords. I haven't had to use it yet (Thank God) but I have the confidence in the product to keep my family safe.

I bought the generator November 2025, worked for 10 minutes when first installed. Tried to exercise January 2025 and would not start with either natural gas or propane. Called Westinghouse for assistance and was told it was probably the regulator and would send me a replacement, albeit I would have to install it. Asked for instructions but never received a readable copy. Very disappointed that I bought a "lemon" and Westinghouse would not make it right. They offered to make the repair but I would have to take the unit to a repair shop 40 miles from me. I have no way to transport the unit. I would have to pay for a service call even though materials and labor is covered under the one year warranty. I asked that the unit be replaced and was refused.

This generator had everything I was looking for and more. Power, Tri-fuel, CO Sensor, Remote and hoses. I wanted to see how easy it would start if I used the pull chord. I was amazed! It started using the chord, with minimal effort, the very first time I used the generator.

I bought this generator in July of 2025. I did not attempt to start it until our first power outage in February of 2026. We attempted to start it and it ran for about 30 seconds before cutting off and totally locking up. There was plenty of gas and a full quart of oil. I am just now beginning the warranty process with Westinghouse and will update the status once we have a resolution
