So when my dryer of 21 years finally gave up the ghost, I was more than ready to begin my new era of drying. LG was my number one choice: I already have a 13 year old LG washer that has only needed one repair. Since my previous another brand dryer was basically a selection of time dry or perm press, this LG offers perfect choices, along with a fantastic steam feature that really leaves clothes looking wonderful. I'm still experimenting with all my options, not to mention my downloadable cycles. And when it's time for a new washer, I know I can get the matching LG model and set up a wi-fi link between the two for even more efficient drying!

We were able to pair it with our washer so that it gives a suggestion of how to dry it. Also, we were able to connect it with an so we don’t have to keep a close eye on when the clothes finish drying.

This feature has really improved our throughput and we are doing a much better job keeping up with laundry!

It has everything you need and more! I love the smart features so I always know when my loads are done. I highly recommend this for the busy family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice and sleek dryer. Has lots of features and super easy push button start and setting indicators. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a door issue. When I received my first dryer of this model, the door would not close and it would not start, so I requested a replacement. It was replaced but had a similar issue. We figured out the issue was the screws on the door hinges were not tight enough, and the door sensor did not kick on. Once that was fixed though, have not had any problems since.

I found out everything is preset and for example you can only use cold water on certain settings. I would like to be able to adjust temperature, time etc for any setting I want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had our new dryer for a few weeks and it has worked very well. It is quiet, dries clothes well, and fits well in our laundry room (it has a slightly smaller footprint than our old dryer). We have been very happy with our new LG Dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 1 month ago and it has been excellent. Lots of great cycles and the wrinkle cycle works very well. I have the gas version and dryer gets plenty hot to dry clothes quickly. Comforters only take 40 mins. Steam works well also. I would definitely recommend this dryer.

Quiet; dries items well--which is VERY cycle dependent. NOT ALL cycles can be individualized...for example, if one wishes to dry permanent press items on LOW heat INSTEAD of the programmed MEDIUM heat, one CANNOT do so on the permanent press cycle; one must use timed dry to select low heat OR use delicate. If once chooses delicate then the time is not quite right so one really must go to Timed Dry. I stated with the WASHER review that there was NO "Complete owner's manual" included with the data provided in the sealed plastic envelope inside the dryer drum. The Owner's Manual Dryer was there BUT the owner is directed to the website to obtain the 'complete' manual. I believe this is a poor decision on LG's part. LG is presuming that everyone who buys this product has CONSISTENT and RELIABLE internet service ALL the time; and that the purchaser wishes to download the LG app or go to the LG website for data. Troubleshooting data clear in the skimpy manual that is provided.
