I bought this as a set. I love the color, the function of steam fresh is wonderful. I can't always get to the clothes when there done and the steam function really cuts down on wrinkles. I would recommend this to anyone . Thanks for the rebate as well.

I bought this dryer about a month ago when my old one died. I was so excited about all the features it had. However, after it was delivered and I tried to use it I was very upset. I could not get it to make any changes to the cycles I wanted to use. It turns out the machine was too smart for me. However after a lesson from the techs I now love it. It seems one step I missed was to chose the cycle I needed to turn the know a little to the left. That allows me to use the cycle the way I chose to. Thanks LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dryer. Moved into a new home and got a new washer and dryer. They have both worked well. We have t gotten around to learning all of the features, but we love what it does. Senses the size of the load and drys well. Very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a lemon, or a piece of junk. This dryer has been nothing but a source of aggravation ever since I purchased it. We keep on getting this flashing “gas” error. The dryer stops 25 to 30 minutes into its cycle with gas error flashing. It does not generate any heat, everything is still wet. We had a plumber check the gas line, everything is fine—our gas stove and gas water heater have no issues. An LG tech replaced the dryer’s gas valve—same issue. My mom suffers from dementia, laundry is a necessity in our house. To get this repaired, I have to pay a plumber to disconnect the gas line from the dryer, pay someone to bring it down from its platform, once the maintenance is done, pay for the reverse process. At this point, as soon as I have the money, I’ll get a new dryer , and hope to have better luck. My last dryer lasted over 15 years before the motor gave out. Buyer beware!!

The LG online help center is also useless. I do not like being unable to adjust the temperature on the various settings...!

Purchased the washer/dryer pair to replace a 12 year old set. Installation was complicated since I need side venting and there are no drawings of dryer vent placement. My wife is visually impaired and appreciates the ease os selecting a cycle. Since the machines are at the opposite end of the house from where we usually hang out, the Internet connection telling me when cycles are complete is very helpful. Only installed for a few weeks but like the end results, clothing comes out clean much quicker than our previous machines.

We only dry clothes, bedding and towels in our dryer. Nothing hard or bulky like shoes, etc. During a normal dry cycle with medium load, the inner wall of the "real tempered glass" door broke off and mixed a bunch of tiny jagged sharp shards into our clothes. I stack my dryer on top of the washer with the LG stacking kit, and if I wasn't paying attention, I could have opened the door and dropped a heavy 14" diameter disc of razor sharp glass 4 ft right on top of my feet and shattered all over my home floor. It'd been 2 years since we purchased and LG originally said it's out of warranty, but this is not an acceptable level of safety to have for a product well within its expected operating lifespan.
