I was looking at other grills over 1k and finally decided to get this after seeing it in store. Over 2.5 hrs to put together myself. Make sure to heat up first to remove sticker on TOP lid. The stickers on side trays were no issue to remove. Got over 500°F in under 10mins with all burners on high. My Ribeye was delicious.

This may be a good grill if you can get one not damaged. Purchased this grill yesterday. Unboxed & noticed there were a few pieces that had damage but didn't appear to be very bad. As I started to assemble, notice they were much worst than I first thought. Then I saw the firebox was damaged & cracked. Instructions said not to return but call the Hotline. Called & reported the 10 pieces I knew were damaged. They provided an itemized list that came to $323. New pit costs $399. Called Sams & they said I could return it. This afternoon I returned & got a 2nd one. Just unboxed, had 3 damaged panels & another cracked firebox. I'll return tomorrow & get my money back. I'm really disappointed & sorry I've wasted more than 2 days dealing with this. Beware.

I purchased a small 2 burner BBQ Grill from Sam's before. It was junk for the same price as this 5 burner. I swore I wouldn't buy another from Sam's. This Grill is excellent in firebox quality. The cast aluminum is the way to go. It took me all day to assemble but it was well worth 300bucks. I would purchase again.

Easy to put together. The directions were easy to understand. The one thing I don't understand is all the stickers! Those stickers would be great for a display model. But, not for a grill that somebody had already decided on and bought. The sticker on the lid did leave a stain. Sam's ought to reconsider the stickers. It might even save them a few bucks in the long run :-)

Very solid built grill. I highly recommend downloading the BILT app to help with construction. Makes assembly much easier. The decal on the hood needs to be addressed. Why even put it on there? There are decals on the side shelves already and they peel off easy. Just leave it off if it's a problem. I heated the grill to 400* and it peeled off whole but left glue residue. Used a mixture of 1part Dawn 4x and 4parts white vinegar in a spray bottle to get the glue off with a rag. Ditch the Decal Members Mark. I want my new BBQ to be spiffy!

I bought this grill 2 yrs ago and it is great. It stays outside in the elements and can handle it all. It works really well but you need to clean it annually. Like wash the grills, deflectors etc. Take care of it and it will take care of you. As for those who need a grill to heat above 500 degrees, I question them. Who in the world needs to get a grill that hot? As for putting it together it was fun. Buy during the winter place it in the garage and assemble it. The tutorial was a big help. Just take your time and use ALL the parts. I highly recommend it. And as for this discount price you cannot beat it. I have had all sorts of gas grills like Weber, Australian brands etc. This one out shines them all for cooking and durability. BUY IT!

I was worried about the sticker issue, but it seems the manufacturer addressed it based on complaints so that was a non issue. Assembly was a few hours, but I recommend using the phone app they provide rather than the paper instructions. I am very pleased with the build quality, look and operation. The only thing I would recommend for future improvement is a rubber sleeve (similar to the knobs) on the middle or ends of the grill lid handle. The handle is black metal, so it will broil your hand when you got to open the grill in the sun. It would be great if a rubber sleeve was made available as an add on.

I am a mechanic. So this should be easy for a handy person . Assembly took 65 mins not including 20 mins to install the app for assembly. Yes the paper instructions are included. Set aside an 8x8 area and review the instructions before you begin. Only one medium flat head screwdriver needed. Start all screws before tightening them on each section. The “only” hard part will be landing the top section on the base. I did it by myself but it’s a stretch for a smaller person to do alone.

I'm very please! Minor details on a few things I would have done differently. Assembly was straightforward except for the side burner valve. Instructions made me believe I needed to assemble the pieces when they were already done & held underneath with a strap. I called customer service, registered my grill & realized where the valve assembly was while on the phone reporting it missing. Customer service was amazing. I do wish it came with a gas container, but you get a cover, which is about 2" short. I get wind & rain, which would cause the bottom to get wet. Cooked on for the first & it heats up very fast. I had a high-end infrared grill prior. The first burn smell was expected. If I had it to do over, I would heat for 20, open it & then do it again. Grates had minor sticking. An apx 2" ribeye cooked medium in about 12 - 13 minutes with one flip. Beautiful sear marks & even cooking. My old grill once I lit a zone, each consecutive zone would ignite by turning the gas. This grill requires pressing the start for each zone. Great & heavy duty definitely need TWO PEOPLE to assemble. I did my solo & it was rough.

I was a bit tentative to purchase because of all the comments about it coming messed up out of the box and being difficult to put together. But for the price you can’t beat the quality. I found it really easy to put together. Everything was packed well and there were no blemishes. The instructions were easy to follow and with the BILT app, most should have no problem at all.
