Well designed product “BILT app” is amazing

I am a mechanic. So this should be easy for a handy person . Assembly took 65 mins not including 20 mins to install the app for assembly. Yes the paper instructions are included. Set aside an 8x8 area and review the instructions before you begin. Only one medium flat head screwdriver needed. Start all screws before tightening them on each section. The “only” hard part will be landing the top section on the base. I did it by myself but it’s a stretch for a smaller person to do alone.

Damaged, Damaged - Beware

This may be a good grill if you can get one not damaged. Purchased this grill yesterday. Unboxed & noticed there were a few pieces that had damage but didn't appear to be very bad. As I started to assemble, notice they were much worst than I first thought. Then I saw the firebox was damaged & cracked. Instructions said not to return but call the Hotline. Called & reported the 10 pieces I knew were damaged. They provided an itemized list that came to $323. New pit costs $399. Called Sams & they said I could return it. This afternoon I returned & got a 2nd one. Just unboxed, had 3 damaged panels & another cracked firebox. I'll return tomorrow & get my money back. I'm really disappointed & sorry I've wasted more than 2 days dealing with this. Beware.

Grill would just spudder! Sent a new gas regulator and did the reset. Still wouldn't burn correctly. Would blow out all the time.

doors do not line up

It’s a great grill however if you have OCD this will push you over the edge because the doors do not line up and it looks like the holes for the handles were drilled wrong. Disappointed.

Thank you so much for taking time to leave a review. The most common cause of misaligned doors is that the grill wasn't on a completely level surface when the grill was being assembled. The easiest way to figure out if this is the case, is to use a level on the bottom panel inside the grill cart and see if everything is straight. The grill may need to be moved to a level area before tightening all of the screws on the cart side panels.
