Have used several Keurigs for years and years and looking ahead to an upcoming move and storage of most household goods for a while, I was worried about moving and storing the current Keurig so I started looking for a unit that emptied all the water you put in with each brew. Came across this great coffee maker at local Sam’s but the store was out of them - only had the one on the shelf - so I went home and ordered it online. I also wanted to be able to make a pot of coffee for when guests are over in addition to my single serve pod maker and this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew 2-Way Coffee Maker really fits the bill! It is simple to use and makes great coffee! Simple to clean also! I love that the needle holder on the single brew side is easily removable and I can just rinse it under running water to clear the grounds from the needle! Can’t do that with a Keurig, or at least none of them I have owned. I do that each time I use it, that’s how simple it is! I also just leave the reservoir door open after brewing on either side to let the condensation dry. It reassures my mind that there is no water left stored (and growing “things”!) in either side of the unit. The only minor issue I have is the lid to the single serve side is slightly warped when it cools and does not lay completely flat when closed. Once the unit heats up during a brew, that lid does lie flat, but warps again once cooled. I’m going to call the company today to see if they can just send a replacement lid. I do not use the carafe side as often as the single serve side but am still glad to have the use of both in one machine (although, you cannot brew a single pod while the carafe is brewing and vice versa). I totally recommend this coffee maker!

Love this coffeemaker - just didn’t have room for two separate appliances so this is a good solution. Read other reviews but so far we’ve had no problems. Bought a rolling tray to place under it just because it was awkward to move back and forth on the counter to get it out from under the cabinets - our old coffeemaker filled from the front and we hadn’t had that issue before - love the single cup feature!

So I read a ton of reviews prior to purchasing on this and other coffeemakers. I really loved the concept of the ability yo do both a pot and K cups with this particular one. It does come with a reuseable K cup already so that was great. It works really nicely, looks sleek and seems to be really well made. A lot of reviews indicated it made lukewarm coffee. I have not found that to be the case on mine. My unit makes steaming hot coffee on both sides.

Great purchase. It makes hot 12cup as well as 12oz cup. Keeps coffee warm for couple of hours in the pot. The single serve comes with a separate screened filter in case you want to use your own ground coffee. It is perfect. Extremely pleased with the performance. Highly recommend this flexBrew coffee maker.

We've been using a Keurig for years now, and love the variety in blends it offers us, but at the same time, we wanted to save on costs and decrease our contribution to landfills. This brewer gives us options and actually has a nicer appearance than the Keuriig. We've used it for less than a week, but so far we are pleased with it.

This is the second flex brew coffee maker I have bought, they have definitely improved this one because with two water reservoirs you can have a full pot ready to go for the next day and have a single cup when you want. With the old model once you put the full pot in you could only brew a full pot.

Bought it to replace my previous Hamilton dual maker it's made much better and I can brew 14+ oz in the single cup side. There is s a Separate water areas for the single cup so there is no alarm if you over filled it. The old craft would drip when pouring, this one is fine.

Had one since about 2015 I believe. Took it to work and still works great. Got a Kuerig to replace it. Biggest mistake ever. Throw that thing away after the second one they sent broke in less than a year. Went and bought another one of these. It works great and we love it. If you want something simple that makes pots of coffee and singles and is reliable, this is the one.

Had unit for 3 months and then heard a loud pop. The ring around the heating element broke, split in the ring. While it still worked - heated, it did not feel safe to continue using it. The lid and other plastic parts were flimsy - not sturdy. Previously had a similar unit and it lasted for 7 yrs and then started to have less coffee in the caraffe than the water added to the unit and it started to leak out the bottom of it onto the counter. Quality of that unit and its parts were better than this one.

I love this coffee maker....have bought 3 over the past 8 years.....none have broken or given me any problem....just wanted to update...my Christmas present to myself....I then pass my old one onto someone who needs a new coffee maker....keep up the good work...
