Hard to clean.

I have had this maker for years. It brews great coffee. The maker is hard to clean. When cleaning you have to dismantle part of the maker using screw driver. Even after cleaning it has started to fail to detect water in reservoir.

Not happy with coffee or Maker

This is too big for us. Putting it on the counter we had to put it on the end of the countertop because we couldn't lift the top-up to pour water inside. Coffee did not taste as good as Kwergic. Will try to return.

Broke in under a year.

I loved this coffee machine more than my Keurig. But it is less than one year old and it started leaking water everywhere. Unfortunately I threw away the box and cannot return it so basically $80 has gone down the drain.

I wish this made a better cup of coffee

I bought this because my Ninja started not brewing after 2 years and I did not want to spend a lot. Well you get what you pay for. It does not get hot enough to really brew a good cup of coffee.

Standard brew temperatures for this appliance will be between 185-195 degrees Fahrenheit. Plastic tasting

Often the coffee brewed into the carafe has a distinct taste of pastice. There is no rhyme or reason as to what is causing it. The pot is less than 6 months old and we're going to replace ot with something else.

Best coffee maker ever.

We?ve had top of line Keurig, Mr. Coffee, Bunn, others. This machine makes better coffee then all the others and offers the versatility of carafe and pod. Even has a basket for pod portion so you can use your own coffee or loose tea. Glad we got it.

Coffee maker

I have been wanting one of these for a while. The first kcup I messed up on got a cup of grounds. Figured out what I did wrong and this is a delicious cup of coffee and I love the choice of making a cup or a pot. Best investment I made.

Awful Design

I returned this after 1 day. The k cup function over pressures the k cup causing coffee and grounds to leak everywhere. Read the manual several times to make sure I was brewing this the correct way. It’s is a big waste of money and a piece of junk.

Started leaking within a year

This coffee maker worked great for a while until it started leaking water all over the place. We bought it in November 2018 so it hasn't even been a year and now it's useless. Will not buy another Hamilton Beach product.

hot coffee

Love this coffee maker, more than my Keur** The versatility of brewing a full pot or using a pod for a single cup is fantastic. It also comes with a pod to use with your own coffee. Plus it is nice and hot!
