Purchased on 10/25/24and unit has not worked properly since install. LG does not have any techs available to repair unit. Unit gives a D98 error saying the duct work is blocked but the duct work isn't blocked because it isn't hooked up. I would not recommend this product.

The problem is that on the dryer, all of the temperature and other settings are preset and can’t be changed. 99% of the time I dry my clothes on low temperature. There is no setting for low temperature drying other than timed dry without downloading from the app. The app looses connection to my wifi on a regular basis. Nothing else in my house looses internet connection. On laundry day, it is common for me to have to delete the appliance from the app and reload it. Further, this is a vacation home and our adult children vacation here too. So that means they have to download the app if they want to choose their own settings. I find it very frustrating that I can’t just change the settings to my preference. The suggested dryer setting for all of my clothes is low so it blows my mind that low temperature drying is not a regular setting. Every single time I do laundry, I lament out load- I hate this machine!

It looks pretty and had a good capacity. You can’t you all features like hot water on the fast cycle. You have to download some cycles. More trouble than it’s worth. You can turn on the washer drum light only if the washer stops. Not to watch the wash. The steam in the dryer is only for after the dry cycle has ended and the wrinkle care is turned on. Also on the site it promotes rinse laundry credits. Check to see if it’s available in your state before you assume it is like I did.

Overall I like this product, however after I installed the system I found that the doors are NOT reversible. The hinge is on the left so it causes problems in tight spaces. I never thought to ask since every washer/dryer I’ve ever bought has had reversible doors. Beware if this is important to you.

I recently bought this laundry tower to replace and old clunky laundry that I unherited when I moved into a condo. This unit fit perfectly into the closet and cleans perfectly and quickly. The app feature is great so you know when your cycle is coming to an end...just need to figure out how to lower the volume on the chime when the wash/dry cycle ends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our washer and drier. If you download the app, there’s additional settings you can use. I would recommend LG adding some sort of animal washing feature. Idk if that can be done, either way, it does 10x’s better than my previous washer.

So far, SO good! We put the WashTower in a small laundry closet upstairs by our Primary Bedroom and I was worried about the noise but it's really quiet and has such quick cycles, I feel like I'm caught up on laundry for the first time ever with my 3 kids!

I love where the controls are. Washer: The installed wash settings aren't quite what I want, and you can't control/customize what thet do very well. The temp/spin etc are limited and don't let you select from full range of options. I found this limitation all the website confirming it isn't just mine. Dryer: It can't handle small loads. They never dry fully with the sensor (even with 'most dry' set). This is a new vent, it's not clogged. I always end up having to use the timed dry after. If I do a load of sheets and towels, I always end up with the sheets tangled around a balled up (damp) towel. No idea why because the never happened with my previous dryer, which was a similar style, just not stacked. I don't know the cost or easy to reach controls were worth the hassle or actually using it.

We chose this unit specifically to fit a space where a linen cabinet used to be. We wanted a stackable unit, and was particularly attracted to this unit because of it's compact size, and controls located in the center of the unit. After installation we ran a few loads and in the washer's spin cycle the unit vibrated horribly and nearly danced out of it's space. Turns out the installer only removed 2 of the 4 shipping bolts that hold the washer drum in place during shipping. After removing the remaining 2, the unit is very steady during the spin cycle. Make sure the installation instructions are followed for removing the shipping bolts.

The front-loading washer gets my clothes cleaner than I would have thought possible. The ease of loading and running both the washer and dryer makes things for easy for me and the compact design freed up additional space in my home. I highly recommend the LG washer dryer combo. LG lives up to its name...Life is Good!
