To be clear, the repair company is trying to get the part from LG. They cannot repair the machine unless they have the part. So the problem is the availability of parts. They put in the order but it is in LG hands. This is in addition to the review just written. We don't know how long it will take to repair this brand new machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit looks sleek and modern. I love the lighted drums, the cycle finish tunes, and the easy to reach control panel. It is quiet, both washing and drying. However there is quite a learning curve for me and my laundry routines to accommodate the Washtower operation. This unit was a replacement for front loading pair vintage 2004. In most cases my laundry was 2 cycles and 2 temperature combinations for settings for both wash and dry. Now I pine for the simplicity of my "old fashioned" machines and find the features that are supposed to be helpful are not. For example, the most frustrating part of this unit is the inability to fully program loads to get the combinations of washing and drying temperatures. From the fabric care tags (which I follow diligently) most wash loads are warm or cold wash in normal or delicate cycle and drying on low heat. Washing can usually be accomplished by selecting some garment category which may or may not exactly describe what is being washed. Drying however is a much bigger problem. The only way I can get a low temperature dry is to use a delicate cycle and adjust from there to get the clothes dry. Often parts of a load require 2-3 trips to get dry (particularly waistbands and thick ply construction around pockets). I felt I could overcome this with the ability to create my own settings on a downloadable program, but as yet I have yet to be able to find how to do this, even with the Thinq app and wifi connection. Descriptions of the feature abound but I have yet to find actual instructions to accomplish this. The larger openings make getting clothes in and out easy, however the large door swing has made my laundry room setup much less convenient than before and I'm contemplating having to have the space revamped to provide easier access. I'm trying really hard not to be an "old dog" and learn some new tricks, but often I pine for my familiar, functional 15+ year old set. My recommendation of this product would come with the caveats explained above.

Have used my new washtower for a month now, love it more with each use! It is a beautiful appliance and performs superbly. Very little noise. My last set sounded like a B52 taking off. This set is so quiet, and does such a good job. Absolutely love it.

We have the stainless front, making it look like a kitchen appliance, looks better than the common white or black. Install was easy, but moving into place difficult due to size weight. Only complaint is the wifi app, software is difficult to use as it is not like any other interface. While it works, it is not intuitive, you must adapt to it.

No more drying everything twice, no more not being able to fit the laundry in one load. Smart, sleek, energy efficient.

I bought the Washtower to replace my 10 year old LG front load stackable washer and dryer, which I had pretty good luck with. I really like that these are one solid unit (less rocking around!), they are a good family size and are quiet. I can't seem to connect to the wireless feature, but I don't really need that so I am ok with that. I am confused why the default cycle on the dryer - the cycle that is supposed to be more energy efficient - doesn't actually have my clothes dry when the cycle is over. I need to run another 10 minutes in order to get them dry if I forget to override the default cycle. Otherwise I am pleased with this purchase and hope I will get a good long life out of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate it this is the worst washing machine ever now I specify washing machine the dryer is pretty good but the washing machine does not clean your clothes I don't know your clothes stink like wet dog and when you open the front loader there is every type of particle that did not go down the drain around the Rubber seal whether it be paper in your pocket or dog hair or grass it doesn't matter your stuck cleaning the rubber every time you do a load and your clothes smell no matter what you do even if you put additives in this is the worst washing machine I've ever owned and unfortunately it is too late for me to return it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I converted a bedroom closet into a laundry center. I purchased this one piece set to replace my side by side set. This unit is incredibly quiet. Emits very little heat inside the closet. And the capacity is outstanding. I just washed and dried a king sized comforter. My old set couldn't handle this comforter. This purchase was a great decision. I'm very happy with this set.

The automatic settings have delivered clean and fully dried clothes including small loads and some larges loads. We learned to minimize our laundry detergent use versus our old machine which will save some $$ every load. We're quite happy with it.

We had our LG stackable unit installed about a month ago. We had it installed in our new kitchen and it has become a piece of art in the house. It is quiet and efficient and has worked just as we expected it to, being an LG appliance. We are so happy we opted for the best, most efficient and most beautiful unit we could find.
