I purchased this to replace a Yamaha EU2000i Generator 10 years old with over 4,700 hours. That unit gave me excellent service. This unit is extremely quiet perhaps even quieter then my Yamaha was. Time will tell if it holds up as well as the Yamaha, but for the price, if it lasts 1/2 as long it will be well worth the price I paid.

Not sure about the bad reviews but the one I bought starts and runs as advertised. I think some people are just stupid and don`t understand what the limitations for this size generator is, or they don`t know how a screwdriver works and shouldn`t own one let alone a generator.

I bought this to tailgate and it did not disappoint. It’s an easy start, very quiet unit that with it setting 20’ away it’s easy to have a normal conversation and hear the tv outdoors simultaneously. It easily ran my devices - pellet grill, tv and a few ancillary chargers without turning up the power. I appreciate the digital power usage and fuel gauges that can easily be read from a distance. Portability is easy and practical. Best of all this unit is affordable. About $200 less than similar units. I highly recommend this for tailgating, camping or other small usage duty.

I live in New Orleans. I bought this generator at my local Sam's one day after hurricane Zeta and ran it just a couple days to keep the fridge cold after that hurricane. We only run it at night. Then it sat turned off until May when a small tornado came down the street knocking the power out for a day. For those two event I had put a total of 27 hours on the unit. Then came hurricane Ida. We ran it every day (during the day) for a week straight. During that time we ran the fridge (a small fridge, only a few hundred watts but twice that at startup) a small 500 watt room air conditioner, the TV, and charged multiple batteries on phones and flashlights (again, we didn't run it at night). Starts on the first pull every time runs great. With everything above pugged in and running, the power meter is one bar less than full capacity. One evening I was cleaning up outside and noticed it was running a little rough. I checked the hour meter and it was over 80 hours of run time and I was supposed to change the oil around 50 (time flies when your having fun I guess). So I powered down everything, cut it off and changed the oil (luckily my truck uses 10w so I had some lying around). After that, it started on first pull and right back to purring like a kitten... I love this generator, it's been a life saver. I'm thinking of either getting a bigger dual fuel from A-iPower, or another one of these and doubling the capacity. We had the neighbors insulin in our fridge and was storing multiple food items (beer) for our neighbors. Now I want a bigger unit so I can just hand off an extension cord and go. Do your self a favor and get a NEMA L5-30 adapter so you can use the RV circuit for more household items.

We recently bought two of these to run in parallel for our travel trailer. They are much easier to load than the big Honda generator we used to use. They start and run the 15K BTU air conditioner with no problem. The extending handle and wheels make it nice to move around. Very happy with our choice. I also found that the Champion generator cover fits perfectly.

I only have 4 hours break in on the generators so I can't comment on the quality of it. The case quality isn't good. Just putting oil in them broke both of the the oil catches that sit under the oil fill port. The angle of the fill port is a bad design. Unless you pre-measure the amount of oil you are putting in, expect to make a mess filling it. I emailed support to ask about a shop manual and a parts diagram/list. I have given them over 2 weeks with no response. Other then a spark plug and maybe a replacement carb, good luck trying to find replacement parts for this unit without supports help.

We bought 2 of these generators to run in parallel to power our camper with a 15,000 BTU air conditioner. We also added a hard start kit (Supco SPP6) to our AC unit so we could run the generators in parallel on ECO mode. We get bout 8 hours of runtime overnight. Otherwise they will not handle the surge of the AC kicking on and you'll need to turn off eco mode. You'll burn through a lot more fuel this way. I prefer having 2 generators in parallel versus one larger unit because they are easier to handle and you get more flexibility.

I have ran this I-Power 2300 for almost 100 hours now. It has worked well. I am amazed on the fuel economy. I am getting around 10 hours of run time at our cabin. We have all LED lighting and our water is gravity fed from the spring house. We have a small RV pump as a booster for better pressure. This little generator is a perfect fit for our needs. I received a good one out of the box. Just like Honda or anything, sometimes you get a lemon. Again this unit is awesome for the price. All my buddies use their Honda's but you can get this i-power on sale for $349. Do the math that is at least $600 saving from the Honda. Don't get me wrong the Honda is great but for the money you can't beat this little unit for the money.

I bought this to replace a 2300/1800 watt generator. I hooked up the unit to two items I could run on my old generator and this one would stop working less then a minute. Called the company and they said I would have to send it back to them so they could check out the inverter. I have been waiting for two days for them to send my the mailing labels.

I purchased 2 of these and run them in tandem for my RV air conditioner. Flawless. They are amazingly quiet. Just remember to flip the vent open on the gas cap. Otherwise they quit running. They worked so well I bought one for my granddaughter. You can purchase one of these or pay 2 or 3 times the price for a Honda and get the same result. Extra feature is a handle that extends and wheels. Easy to move around. If the power went out one of them would run the home heater, lights and or the refrigerator. I would rather have one of these than having the money in my pocket.
