I purchased this to replace a Yamaha EU2000i Generator 10 years old with over 4,700 hours. That unit gave me excellent service. This unit is extremely quiet perhaps even quieter then my Yamaha was. Time will tell if it holds up as well as the Yamaha, but for the price, if it lasts 1/2 as long it will be well worth the price I paid.

I purchased this unit from Sams less than a year ago. When it works, it works very well - quiet and steady performance. However, now it cuts out after about 30 seconds of use for most applications (shop vac, leaf blower, dewalt grinder). Oddly, it still works for some things, like a drill. The voltage reads a steady 124 volts. I bought this to solve my power problems, not to cause me more headaches. This generator has some nice features, but if it doesn't produce power, it is useless. I'm generally happy with the merchandise I buy from Sams and I wonder about the quality of iPower equipment.

Very poor design use caution when trying to start this generator if the Pull string slips out of my hand it will pull it through the side of the generator to the very bottom and then you have to disable the complete outside of the generator in order to get to the pool string again it breaks really easy going through the cheap plastic outside of the generator I would not recommend this for anybody to buy

On second use the generator would not start without ether. Runs poorly surging on low idle and normal setting until load is applied. I had hoped it would be close to Honda / Kawasaki quality at much better price point. Did not expect that it would fall so short. After initial set up it let me down at critical power failure point. My recommendation is go ahead and pay the premium for the Honda equivalent. I wish I had.

Really just a fantastic bit of kit to have in case of emergencies, or for camping/RVing and the like. Bought just ahead of winter storm as store was getting 'cleaned out'. We have lost power prior for a week...it's not fun. While I got it on sale and it would have served our needs well, I will be returning it as I have my eye on a 'duel-fuel' version of this one that is only available via online order/direct shipment, not in the clubs. Price and output is very similar to this one, but having the option to use propane rather than gasoline is a huge plus in most every situation you can think of. Do your research and get the right size for your power needs, as well as the fuel source that suits your needs best. These inverter types are the most efficient, quietest, and offer the cleanest power, and if you get one that can run on propane, well, they can run a really long time on a bottle of propane.

We got this a little while back haven't gotten to use it very much yet but from what I can tell it is very quiet, and we were able to mount it on the front of a cargo trailer, perfect fit, The only complaint I have with the whole order is the shipping, it took way to long for the distance it came from it up took 5 days to go 350 miles

I've been pleased with my 2300i for about 4 years. It truly measures 52 dB on my Android app and runs for 8-10 hours on a tank of gas with modest load. It is the easiest pull start engine I've owned. I like the fuel is shut off to drain the carb each time so even if it sits for a month or longer, it still starts on 2 or 3 easy pulls. I contacted the service dept to inquire about pairing with non-Aipower inverters and spoke with Oscar. He was great and outlined the procedure to do the pairing, which usually is match red-to-red and blk-to-blk. Again, excellent performance and value for $400 inverter, and way quieter than my Generac 2000w inverter. Also, the 3 year warranty is best around.

I really wanted this generator to be the one. I did plenty of research and this one seemed perfect to meet my needs. However, it did not come close to producing the watts that it advertised. I consistently tested many times with multiple items and at roughly 1000 watts, the overload signal would trigger and the generator would shut down. When I tested it side by side with a lesser watt generator that performed with no problems, I then knew for sure this one was a piece of junk. So disappointed in ipower!

Purchased this generator on sale for $349 in store followed all the directions and it never started once, called tech and they wanted me to bring it in to be fixed no thanks, I got it to finaly start on start but as soon as I moved it to run or choke it died, had to pull cord multiple times pass on this brand and buy a better one. Returned it in 2 days for a refund.

Bought 2 of these awhile back at Sam's club. Seem decent other than 1 of them the fuel gauge hasn't worked since I bought it and after reading reviews on other sites seems like a common problem. The worse part is you cannot get any kind of answer back or reply from this company if you have a question or problem. I would like to have the fuel gauge working but now I'm thinking I should have just returned it as soon as I bought it. Price seems decent compared to a Honda but because of poor customer service I cannot recommend this product.
