JUNK

Worse than junk you have to pay for them. With 2 lightning starters on my air conditioner, 1 for the fan and 1 for the compressor, they will just go into overload. These are rated at 3600 running wats. My air conditioner takes 2,500 to start and runs on 1,500 according to the manufacture. I am surprised Sam's still handles such junk! Will not even run my microwave the light bulb blinks and the motor run funny. Fuel gage and hour meter do not work on one of them. Can not get anything from support. 2 e-mails and one call.

reply from DEE-Ontario Calif.

Hi.. Sorry to hear of this. Please verify what your inverter/charger for your on board batteries are consuming. This will start to consume power upon plug in. I have seen them as high as 1500 watts. Please call us back and ask to speak with the manager at your earliest convenience. Thanks, ! 855 888-3598

Terrible starting! Do not recommend

Seems I can't get this thing started with out calling the help line. I don't use it all the time and I would if I could get it started! It seems like I should be able to start it without having to call for help every time! Ridiculous! Save your money and look elsewhere. $400 I'll never see again!

reply from Supplier Response

Hi JC. Please reach out to our customer service department, 855-888-3598 so we can help you out. For all small engine products, it is a really good practice to; 1) drain gas from the tank when stored for prolong periods, but if used semi frequently, 2) keep gas treatment in your stored gas cans and your small engines. This will eliminate or greatly reduce moisture or contaminants from your fuel. This will help you with most starting issues with any small power equipment.

Not quite as advertised

The unit is a nice small unit the box says 120v when it was actually started the meter read 125v. Not much difference but when running near max load it is enough to change the watt equation to kick the unit off. The box also says 1800 running watts when I read the book in he box it only says 1600 watts another small but big difference. The noise level is more than expected, but not unlivable. A functional unit if you are not pulling near it’s “rated capacity”
