The unit is a nice small unit the box says 120v when it was actually started the meter read 125v. Not much difference but when running near max load it is enough to change the watt equation to kick the unit off. The box also says 1800 running watts when I read the book in he box it only says 1600 watts another small but big difference. The noise level is more than expected, but not unlivable. A functional unit if you are not pulling near it’s “rated capacity”

Worse than junk you have to pay for them. With 2 lightning starters on my air conditioner, 1 for the fan and 1 for the compressor, they will just go into overload. These are rated at 3600 running wats. My air conditioner takes 2,500 to start and runs on 1,500 according to the manufacture. I am surprised Sam's still handles such junk! Will not even run my microwave the light bulb blinks and the motor run funny. Fuel gage and hour meter do not work on one of them. Can not get anything from support. 2 e-mails and one call.

Seems I can't get this thing started with out calling the help line. I don't use it all the time and I would if I could get it started! It seems like I should be able to start it without having to call for help every time! Ridiculous! Save your money and look elsewhere. $400 I'll never see again!
