[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Tower unit about a month ago and put it to use right away. Very easy to use, quiet and efficient. Love having the extra space in the the laundry room and the controls are easy to reach not like stacking a washer and dryer.

I put felt pads under feet so that I can regularly clean dryer vent with ease, otherwise I can't move the machine. I must keep the doors open- if not puddles form in both washer and dryer.

Our laundry room is 6 feet by 6 feet and it was not designed for a short person. Our old side by side washer and dryer combination was 32 inches deep and 38 inches tall. The built-in cabinets were above the washer and dryer and 14 inches deep. That meant my wife had to stretch over the edge of the appliances to get to the cabinet and she could barely reach the bottom shelf. Add to that, the drum on the washer was deep; she had use a gripper to reach the clothes to pull them out. Then we saw a store display of the LG Washtower. That changed the game. We spent a few weeks researching the units and taking measurements to make sure we could fit it in the space we had. It looked good on paper so we decided to buy the unit. I removed the old washer and dryer and tore out all the original cabinets. We patched up the walls and added a fresh coat of paint. To brighten the area, I mounted an LED ceiling light. We bought a freestanding storage cabinet that doubled our shelf space and it was all accessible without stretching. Delivery day went very smooth, the installers were great. They made sure everything was working and all the hookups fit. I finished up by bolting the cabinet to the wall and then we ran our start up test of the Washtower. The center control panel worked well, easy to read and set up both the washer and dryer. What can I say, it was easy to load and my wife is happy. There was no stretching or reaching to load the washer. Detergent and softener trays are easy to fill. Both units operate quietly and with shorter cycles than our old units. After three weeks we are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs a new washer and dryer. Plus, they look good. Thank you LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Washtower does it all. When the wash is finished it communicates to the dryer what type of load was done ie; Bedding or Large or Small Load. I like the Direct Drive motor with 10 Years Warranty. It also connects to wifi as a bonus which allows you to remote start, service notifications, cycle status and time remaining. It has a beautiful design. We Love It.

Coming from a simpler machine, my wife was concerned that this LG might be too complicated for her. Instead, she is loving it and the great washing and drying that it does so easily. Really good engineering. We would recommend this LG without reservations.

When we relocated to a smaller home we purchased a ‘top tier’ set of laundry equipment. These were the typical configuration: stand-alone washer and drier. Two and a half years in, these were proving to be problematic. The washer had required a service call, and the drier had developed a periodic annoying rattle. After a lot of research we decided to cut our losses and replace them with this LG laundry center. We liked the smaller footprint as it would free up space in a small laundry room, and saw that having a front loading washer would offer some benefits: the existing washer was a top loader and the tub was very deep. Removing wet laundry was challenging at times; better energy efficiency, reducing water usage, and better spin drying performance. Having now run about 15 loads through the LG laundry center we are happy to report that it has exceeded expectations. It is easy to load and unload. Washed items are just damp after the spin cycle and dry quickly. We expect this to have a positive effect on water and energy usage. The controls are readily accessible, a very nice difference from other stacked units.

That's what happened to me, but the story ends WELL. I went on line and read reviews and landed on this very unique LG single unit washer/dryer - perfect for anyone, and especially for me in a Condominium with limited laundy space. The product was available for immediate installation - and I have been using it non stop. Not only is it ATTRACTIVE - it is so efficient and effective and SMART! It knows exactly how big the load is and adjusts washing and drying time accordingly. The controls are accessible in every way - and easy to use. I really love this unit. I recommend it with the highest level of confidence ad satisfaction.

I love the control panel being at waist height making it so much easier to see. It's large capacity makes it easy to do oversized objects. The washer/dryer looks awesome, very high end and so far does an excellent job with performance. Everything is very quiet and gets the clothes clean and dry pretty efficiently.
