After almost 50 years of up and down basement steps, my wife Pat can wash and dry our clothes in our converted powder room. Great cleaning results and so quiet also. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my LG Washtower for about two weeks and I’m so happy that I puerchased this one. I love the washer and dryer. The design is beautiful and controls are well thought out. Very easy to operate both. These are a real energy saver because they get my laundry clean and smelling so fresh in 1/2 the time my old stackable did (another brand). The unit is very efficient, quiet, and well designed. The LG app is very useful too to let me know when the loads will be finished. Plus the app has lots of helpful tips. Even the end of cycle signal that’s a little Irish jig is pretty cute. (It can be turned off if you’re not into that.) I love my new LG Washtower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not been successful downloading the wifi, so the extra cycles are not available to me. There has been 4 times that I’ve started the washer and it’s gone through the cycles, played its “finished tune” and I open the door and the clothes are completely dry. I’ve had a plumber look at the hook up and all seems to be ok there. If this continues I guess I will call LG, but there isn’t consistency to when this happens. Also, whenI put a few items (2-3) in the dryer it claims to be finished when it is not, I can’t control the increased amount of minutes the 2 or 3 items might need to finish, so I restart it and after a few minutes it thinks it’s finished. In conclusion the machine is pretty and space saving, but that’s all the positive I can say.

The capacity means I have to do fewer loads and large items like blankets and the dog bed actually get clean in a single wash. I like the AI because some loads end up taking a shorter time to wash or dry than anticipated. This is quieter than my old set. I even like the happy chime when a cycle is complete. I haven't used the 'smart features' that require a network connection or app, yet, so I can't say if they are useful. I was hesitant to buy a one-piece unit, but LG has a great reputation for washers and dryers, plus I've always replaced both at the same time anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this new unit installed 3 weeks ago. First time use the washer leaked out the bottom & ruined my basement ceiling and my new wood floors. Getting a repairman out has been a nightmare. Still waiting for a serviceman. I’m so disappointed in the process of getting a repair under warranty. Everything is automated-no humans to speak to. So frustrated!!

My last washer and dryer I would have to pretreat grass stains and mud from my kids soccer clothes and I with this washer I don't even need to pretreat the clothes they have been coming out clean without needing too! I do wipe the seal down with a towel when I'm done with the loads to prevent the mildew smell (which I have not noticed yet). The dryer works well also! I have been very pleased with this purchase.

Wash cycle is super fast when not doing a huge load, but we've found some materials (such as if I was cutting the lawn and had some small debris on my jeans) does not get flushed out when spun. Dryer cycle is really long and normal cycle does not leave clothes dry. Also, seeing metallic looking filings on rubber door seal. Think this one needs to go back. If it is just a lemon, I'd be happy with the features on this model working correctly, let's see.

The smooth drum movement and quietness are outstanding. The led electronic controls are easy to use and give it an upscale look compared to other units we considered. Made a great purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is everything we wanted in overall size at only 27" wide (we have very limited space), the drums are wonderfully FULL-SIZE, the washer spins as expected for all size loads (small to quilt size) and practically spins clothes dry. The dryer has heat choices to dry clothes to, which is great for delicates. The front panel controls are easy to use and using a phone app to control it is very convenient. Also, the alert sound is a happy tune not an annoying buzzer.
