[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with the obvious. Yes, this washer/dryer combo is definitely big and heavy. But honestly, once it’s in place, who’s moving it? (Okay, full disclosure: my husband did have to move it once to adjust the legs because we have a drip pan underneath. But that’s a one-time thing.) Now, one thing I didn’t expect but ended up really appreciating is the detergent and fabric softener cartridge system. Just a heads-up, you’ll need to make sure there’s enough clearance at the bottom front so the little door can swing open for refilling. It's a small thing, but something we didn't think about until setup. So here's where it gets interesting. Laundry duties in our house are split: my husband handles the washing and drying, and I do the folding. He’s a bit proud of himself right now because this unit makes his job ridiculously easy. He just loads the clothes, selects the cycle, and boom, this machine handles the rest. Yes, I’m mildly jealous, because no, it doesn’t fold too (yet!). But hey, at least he doesn’t leave wet laundry sitting in the washer for a day anymore. Since this machine washes and dries, there’s no more forgotten loads turning into mildew central. I’ll admit I was skeptical at first, especially when it came to bulky items like bedding. But wow, it holds a lot! I was able to fit a full set of sheets and a blanket into one load, and there was still room to spare. I’m not sure how they engineered this thing, but it’s a laundry miracle. Also, the app is super handy. It lets us know when the load is done, and it even pops the door open when the cycle ends so everything can air out. Little thoughtful touches like that go a long way. Honestly, we’re never going back to the old-school washer and dryer setup. This machine has completely changed how we do laundry in this house. And if they ever invent one that folds too, I might actually consider giving up my half of the chore. Maybe.

My clothing smells cleaner than with my old washing machine. The clothing is drying perfectly, but I can also pause the cycle to take clothing out that I want to hang before the drying cycle starts. This machine has saved me time and I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Confusing operating system. Icons are not straight forward. I look at them and don't know what they mean without looking it up. Manual that came with it is too generic and does have specific information for this model. Not flexible enough with things like spin speed or dryer temp.It automatically selects those according to the cycle you select and you can't override it. We like the unit, seems to work well, just wish it was more flexible like a regular washer and dryer and don't like the little icons that give options for something that we have no idea what they are.

Washing and drying in the same unit is great and saves time especially when you forget to change loads. The lint catcher is easy to clean out and being able to store a lot of detergent and softener in the washer is another amazing time saver. Just throw in loads of dirty laundry and start up with out adding anything. There is a lot more space in the laundry room now and able to store other cleaning items in the room now as well. I do like using the touch screen to set up every load. The drying has been great as well with clothes washed and completely dried. Still learning what else can be done as there a ton of options.

I downloaded the smart things app and it makes it much easier. The fact that you don't have to fill the detergent and fabric softener everytime is also a plus! Also not having to switch the clothes every load makes it nice. It has saved me so much room in my laundry room. The AI touchscreen also makes a huge difference when selecting load sizes and temperature settings. Having the automatic laundry dispenser below is also a very big plus to this machine. I absolutely recommend this product!

The main thing to keep in mind is where you are installing it, mostly because of the depth. In my laundry room, I was able to add a cabinet on each side this unit and a countertop over all pcs. Has lots of wash options and can be accessed from your smartphone. I really like that I don't have to transfer the heavy wet clothes out of the washer into the dryer now. I also like that it auto adds liquid detergent and softener for each wash. It has saved a little time overall on the whole process, but not as much as advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this thing is great! The technology is amazing. So easy to work with. Fill the detergent, fill the fabric softener, and you are ready to go! The app tells you how much detergent and softener are left. The alerts are easy and let you know when the wash cycle is done, when the dryer is done. Have done multiple loads and each was different. Regular clothes, sheets, towels and so far all have been just as good as any other washer and dryer combo I have had in the past. I also really like this design for the lint trap. So much easier to clean it off than previous versions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my wife and I share the poor habit of starting a washing cycle and then forgetting about laundry and finding damp clothes that have sat in the washing machine a day or two later. On several occasions, she didn't like how the wet clothes smelled and redid the wash cycle. What a complete waste of water, time, and detergent! So when this became available, it was a no brainer to try it out. Now we can pop in a load at the end of the day before go to bed or when we wake up before going to work and it has made doing laundry so much more seamless and efficient. Although this is my first washer/dryer combo, from the reviews i read with other units, the duration of both cycles was in excess of 5-6hrs. Samsung has figured this out and we were able to run a combo wash in under 2 hours. Of course, on faster more economic modes, the clothes do not become bone dry like on a dedicated dryer unless you increase the settings. I love the customizability that I have to adjust load settings depending on what I'm washing, specifically the difference between normal clothes and washing bedding. This way I can have customized runs for specific things and adjust dry time, or adjust load heaviness. I spent a lot of money on my sheets and I feel that they are being better cared for with this level of customization. I also love the super speed run, as there have been rare instances where I need to wash one particular item and feel bad using a normal wash cycle for it. Now I can customize it to my needs. It is also awesome that you can preload detergent and softener for the machine to administer based on your needs. I think this really allows you to make laundry less of a chore. As trivial as this may sound, I absolutely love building a smart home. It brings joy to me when my Samsung computer monitor or my Samsung TV notifies me while I'm working or watching TV that my laundry load has completed. It is awesome to be able to assess what stage your laundry is in on the smart things app. This unit is also my secondary laundry in my house situated on the third floor next to our gym and our kids rooms. I have a normal separate washer/dryer in our true laundry room, and i find myself coming to this machine instead. The incredible technology that saves us steps/time wasted on chores is worth every penny.
