I replaced an older HP printer with what I thought was the current version of the same printer based on the features listed. What i've since learned is that the print speed is slower, the paper cartridge holds fewer sheets of paper, the scanner only scans one side at a time, and the touch screen sensitivity is poor. I would not recommend this printer for more than occasional usage.

Its quality is low compared to the last one I owned for over 13 years. The getting to the ink cartridges is not user friendly and the print tray design is cheap and bends the paper. Definitely wish it was a little more user friendly and quality has drastically decreased over the years.

Good quality print but is very slow in printing compared to my last HP printer which would print a page in a matter of less than a minute. This new one takes over a minute to print 1 page. If it’s a 10 pages on both sides then I can go brew a 12 cup of coffee and it might be almost finished.

Functionality is great. It's all the strings involved with not wanting to keep paying for ink every month that crashed this rating. Not only is it complicated to cancel, once you cancel, you cannot use the printer at all anymore. It's a horrible way to do business and unavoidable with this printer unless you want to spend a fortune getting ink that has the chip but isn't attached to the program. The second you cancel, your ink might as well have been dried dung because you cannot use what you already purchased and then there are hidden fees after canceling.

I had an HP 8600 for twelve years. A workhorse, solid, dependable, dud the job. When it died, it owed me nothing so I purchased a new HP printer. I’m sorry HP but you really skimmed on this printer. It’s flimsy. It makes a lot of noise. It keeps losing Internet connection. Let’s put it this way going forward. I don’t think I’ll buy another HP printer.

It’s a typical HP printer. Works. Dependable. I have owned HP printers since the early 90s. This one did have an annoying gyration it did when it had set for a while without being used. I turned off the energy saver and now it doesn’t do that. Smart Ink remains a good deal.

I purchased this printer several months ago for my small publishing business. The results of scanning more than 350 pages for a project were great, as well as easy to complete and organize. I love the larger capacity paper storage tray. It was an excellent choice and I am very pleased.

This printer has the same functions, but larger footprint than my old printer. The paper tray on this new one seems cheap; like I could easy break it, it doesn't slide out smoothly. It seems to work well but is more finicky and too many settings that prevent from printing the first time...

I received this printer about a month ago. It is okay for the price. The set-up was relatively easy. Connecting it to the wi-fi was a challenge for me. Great printer quality and that is at 300 dpi. Although it ran out of ink relatively fast. I'm supposed to get three months of free ink. I'm out of ink and haven't heard ANYTHING from HP about replenishing the link.

I had multiple problems connecting it to computer. Initially the quality of the copies were terrible. It took more work than expected to fix the problems. It still takes about 2 minutes from the time I hit the print button until it starts printing. I originally had a hp 3630 and loved it.
