Price was decent and the printer works. Setup was not flawless, it had some hiccups but we got it up and running. We previously were using an HP 8610 and this printer is MUCH slower in printing that the previous HP we had. Not overly happy with our purchase but it'll work for what we need it for.

This was a great deal at $119.99, and with a year of instant ink 100 page it was almost like getting the printer free. It was fairly easy to set up although there was initially an issue connecting to the network, but a router reboot and printer reboot fixed the problem. For an inkjet, non photo documents print extremely fast. I'm well pleased with the initial installation.

I like the reliability of HP printers. My 5200 series printer has been working great and the HP instant ink program has been keeping up with my printing. This HP 8128e is a different story. It was hard to get it to accept my internet, either the 2.4 or 5.0 ghz bands. It gobbles up ink cartridges and I cannot enroll in the instant ink program for some reason. I wish I could return it.

Printing, air printing, and copying works great. However, the last HP printer was easy to scan and save to files. This printer requires too many steps to scan documents to file. I use my old HP printer for scanning, which is a waste of space and time.

I like this printer as it is easy to find any jam and remove such. What I don't like is the very low capacity for paper, half of what I had in my former printer. Also the tray that houses the paper feels very flimsey, and is very touchey. I have to pull put the stack of paper and re-arrange it many times after printing. As much as I like this printer I just don't think the quality is there. It is a much cheaper machine, and I am afraid it won't hold up like my prior printer. It is also slower than my prior printer.

So far, works great. Set up was easy. Cartridge installation was easy. The one year free cartridge was a great plus. The only reason I did not give a 5 rating was the cheap plastic paper tray. I removed it to install the paper and it was a pain to get it back in place. Doesn't come with a manual, thank goodness for the internet.

Glad this doesn’t have the mixed color single cartridges but there is no memory card capability anymore. Slow to start but fast enough once it does. So many missing features compared to the last one I had. I miss the email to printer function - I used that a lot in my older printer. Only reason for the change was the old one would not work correctly under Windows 11. Scanning does not make an exact duplicate (margins are off) but the document tray is fast. On whole this printer is average at best.

Very buggy printer. Save your money and buy an Epson instead.
