[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest I generally buy store brand extra virgin olive oil due to the cost difference, but after trying this sustainably sourced product I’m sold on changing my habits. Personally I am all in on sustainability and didn’t even know olive oil could be sold in a sustainable product until I saw the Bertolli product. The bottle was plastic which could have probably been glass for a true sustainable effort, but the fact that they buy from specific farms is personally rewarding for me. As for the quality of the oil when using it, I was impressed by the raw flavor on sandwiches and the overall flavor and oil consistency in a stir fry. Sometimes olive oil can be very bitter, but this tasted like olives more than anything. I mentioned the oil consistency. When heated up, a little bit went a long way on the fry pan and it graciously covered the vegetables and meats I cooked to provide a wonderful fresh taste. I think next time I’m at the store I will be reaching for this bottle rather than the store brand.

It is great for dipping breads, or baking, or just dipping bread. Great to add directly onto a salad too. And the fact that it is sustainably sourced makes it even better.

It also offers heart healthy benefits that are important to me. I had not seen their Sustainably Sourced EVOO until now. It made curious about the company. In my research, I discovered that not only is the company committed to responsible farming they are also on tract to use 100% recycled bottles and turning their plants into zero waste plants. I am in awe of Bertolli and so proud to continue to be a loyal customer during their time of amazing transition! We see you Bertolli!!!

Sustainably sourced is a more eco friendly product. The olive oil is produced by an old fashioned technique called cold pressed. The flavor tastes the same but more earth friendly. We didn’t notice any flavor variations from our usual Bertolli extra virgin olive oil. You simply are getting a better eco product.

First off I don't like that it's in a plastic container. I get that it's safer if dropped or anything but plastic containers aren't great when it comes to products you consume because heat makes the plastics chemicals seep into your products. The oil and brand itself is great. I'd love this if it came in a glass container. I'd recommend the oil just in a different container. I use it a lot for cooking.

I loved cooking with this olive oil, the flavor was light and delicious and perfectly complemented some chicken philly sandwiches I made which were also a hit! It’s also great on salads or combined with Parmesan cheese and crusty bread for dipping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the flavor of this Sustainable Source Extra Virgin Olive oil and I think is a great "mainstream" option for a good quality olive oil but at this point I will really recommend to use single origin source oil to really make an upscale product. The packaging is well design and looks great even though it is plastic and I will expect glass for this type of olive oil. Overall a good product with room for improvement, specially depending of the price point that will have at the store.
