The taste is full and robust and I especially love it in salads and to cook pasta dishes with it as the flavor is delicious. Definitely would recommend this olive oil brand.

This was packed with flavor, guilt free sourcing, and smooth. I used some of the oil with some fresh cracked pepper, course salt, and a little fresh roasted garlic and used it as a spread on some fresh baked bread. It was fabulous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a little disappointed with this Sustainably Sourced Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Bertolli. First off, it comes in a plastic bottle and the cap doesn't seal well. In my opinion if you're going to put your olive oil in a plastic bottle, you would want to put a more secure cap on it than one that you can't even screw down onto the bottle. A cork stopper cap is always a better option. Next is the aroma. I love the smell of a good EVOO. One that is fruity, yet pungent. Sweet yet peppery. With a nice, mild olive aroma tying it all together. This didn't have any of those qualities. When I taste it, I feel like i am drinking Canola Oil infused with pepper. I know this is one of the more inexpensive EVOO's and you can definitely taste it. It is very thick and the bitter hits you right away followed by a strong pepper taste. There is no sweetness, or fruity, or olive taste for that matter with this oil. It might be okay for drizzling on popcorn, but I haven't tried it on that yet. This Bertolli s EVOO just isn't one that I enjoyed very much. I'll pay the few extra dollars to get a higher quality, better tasting EVOO.

Judging by the colour I knew it'd be a lighter flavour. It was. The packaging looks fancier than a lot of store brands and it jumps out at you. It was an excellent accent to my pasta!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In our household we use exclusively olive oil for cooking and salads. I have tried many brands and prefer the extra virgin kind. This brand is new for me (for olive oil that is) but I am very impressed and will continue using it. The color is beautiful golden, the taste is smooth and slightly bitter, just enough to know that it has been made actually from olives but not too bitter to affect the taste of whatever I'm cooking. I love the packaging as well and the extra detail that has been added to the neck of the bottle to control how much you're pouring shows how much the manufacturer cares. And on the top of everything, this product is sustainably sourced.

Smooth, flavorful, peppery, but not too much, and you can really use it for anything, from adding to sauces, salads, to cooking with! Very versatile. And I didn’t expect to like the bottle itself, but it pours very clean without olive oil running down the side.

It emulsified perfectly with the other ingredients. We also used it to dip our bread into with a few herbs added and it was also fantastic. This is a great versatile extra virgin olive oil that is also sustainably sourced which makes it not only a great buy for your kitchen but also for the environment.
