I bought the generator this past summer when a hurricane was supposed to hit the houston area. We were spared this time but having lived through several before and endured the aftermath I pulled the trigger on a generator. I like the idea of duel fuel. Well during the recent ice/snow/power outage it was a godsend. Fuel became hard to get and my options were wider than only a single fuel. We have an all electric home and so a natural gas all home generator was out of the question. The equipment got us through the 33 hours without power.

Just purchased for a our 30 amp travel trailer. Have not used under full load yet, but received it, added recommended oil and follow instructions on startup using LP. Started up easily and runs smooth and fairly quiet. Looking forward to using it as needed. So far soo good and seems to be a Great Product offered at a great value!

Bought this home generator as replacement for my emergency gasoline generator. It was always a hassle keeping gasoline fresh but this generator is being stored with a 20-pound LP tank for those rare times when power is out for more than an hour. While not as quiet as some small power inverter models, it does seem to run more quietly on LP than on gasoline. I love the value for the money--my only complaint was a lack of wheels on this model. However the frame has wheel mounts built-on so in less than five minutes I moved wheels from the generator it was replacing. It would be nice if Champion offered wheels as a convenient add-on purchase.

Just unpacked it today and fired it up. Started without any problems and generated enough power to run several power tools. Price was good, product seems solid, and delivery was quick. Will be using this on a hunting trip to power camping electronics. This unit is very heavy.

I bought the Champion 100401 Dual Fuel generator to replace another brand Dual Fuel generator. The other generator began having problems within 3 months of use. I use the generator several hours, every day, to power the 23 foot travel trailer, that my wife and I live in full-time. I use LPG (propane) to power the generator. This Champion 100401 starts easily, is quiet, does not use a lot of fuel, and oil consumption is minimal. Unlike the previous generator. This Champion generator is awesome.

We bought as a portable back up to keep the basics up and running in case of power outage. It's easy to move out of the shop, and into place for operation. I used it a few weeks ago on gas and after that ran out, switched to LP for a couple of more hours. everything worked fine.

This generator was purchased to power our camping trailer. Because the camper has a propane tank the fuel supply is simplified. The wheel kit was easy to install and start-up was easy to accomplish. The instructions were complete and easy to understand.

Out of the box the generator looks amazing, haven't started it until I know I have to because of the hurricane coming to Florida. I think it's great I can also use propane as a source of fuel! Watched many videos on it and think overall it should handle everything it needs to in time of needs for a storm and power outage for hopefully just a few days.

power went out, power company ETA was 2 days. I just bought some apple smoked bacon.. Ohh no, That's not going bad on my watch. I quickly leaped into gear grabbing my dual fuel Champion generator. I slap on the propane tank and start it up, first time no issues. i throw out my 100' ext cord. plugged in my fridge and saved the bacon.. and the rest of the food. But long story short that bad boy ran for hours no breaks. keeping my familys food cold. you could say it was a champion ( see what i did there) buy one ya wont regret it.

This generator is super easy to use and start. Have already used it several times and it starts quickly. Definitely will be using for hunting trips. Just purchased wheels and a handle and this was definitely worth the purchase. I can easily take it anywhere.
