I specifically bought this as backup power for my home, but mainly to use for my camper. I wanted a duel fuel generator because I already have propane onboard my camper and it prevent having to carry gas. From unboxing, I was a little disappointed because the yellow generator end cover was slightly damaged. With no damage on the packaging and no other damage to the generator or frame, this was obviously damaged prior to being installed. This was disappointing, but it did not affect operation. I have only used the generator on propane. Breaking it in was easy, but changing the oil is a little awkward because the drain plug is in a position where if the generator is on the ground, it is hard to get anything under it to catch the oil. No big deal though. On propane, the generator easily powered my camper and is powerful enough to run my AC without a soft start!! Exactly what I was wanting!! I would definitely recommend this product!!

Love the duel fuel capability. Makes it so much better for camping. I can use the propane tanks in the field and gas at home. No transporting gasoline. Will run everything I need in any camping situation. Starts on only 3 pulls runs great! I absolutely recommend this product for almost any power need.

I bought this generator for the hurricane season. What convinced me was the fact that i could hook it up to our propane tank at home. Plus i didnt want to spend thousand of dollars for a generator. For this powerful one, the price is by far the best. It has lots of power. I can run two big refrigerators, my TV and a few lights, without problems. It is really easy to start and it starts every time without any trouble. The only thing is to move it around. Its pretty heave and has no wheels, so two people are required to move it.

Just purchased based on reviews and the fact it had dual fuel ability. Was great it included the connector to propane and oil along with a manual, I did t have to download online. It was at a great price. Needed to upgrade to larger watt generator, this had such good reviews and price couldn't pass it up.

The Best Little Generator Made I own 2 Champion Generators for 2 different uses My main purpose is the small enough to use around the house or away. Whether I am camping farming or anything else that would require this generator The Best Feature is I can operate it with Gas or Propane. My Propane company has installed an adapter (like a gas grill would use) so I can run my generator off my 1000 gallon tank. I still kep a 20 pound tank full in case I need the generator away from my house. Plus my main reason I love the Champion is I never have to drain the gasoline so it will not gel up in the tank or carburetor. Gas is a Great Feature if you prefer to use it that away, I would recommend this 100401 and 100165 generator. I personally do not see any faults This is my second Champion Generator I own. The other Champion Generator 100165 supply power to my home in case of power outage and I can hook it up to my 1000 gallon propane

I like the different fuel options. When the hurricanes came last year, gas was in short supply. The propane option takes care of that. Runs smoothly, but a huge help would be wheels, because it is heavy to move around. Overall a good solid dependable generator that sells for a good price.

I ordered mine and was delivered few days ago but did not open it immediately as i was busy. when I finally opened it, there were some damages to the air filter housing which made the choke stock in one position. Reaching out to them to see what can be done about it. aside that, it appears to be of reasonable quality for the price.

This generator was easy to set up and operate. The quick guide and manual are very detailed. I use propane for my ovens and other equipment, so having a propane generator to compliment my other gas-powered ones created flexibility. I plugged in my refrigerator and as well as a large freezer box separately to test and it ran very well. I highly recommend these generators for all homeowners and RV trailers, the decibel level was also quite low compared to other models I have used in the past. Highly recommended.

Great generator for the "just in case" use. I love the fact that is dual powered, can use gasoline or propane. Easy start and easy maintenance. Would recommend for anyone. I feel more comfortable knowing that I have good power back-up now in the case of hurricane.
