I purchased this unit to Run our 2015 Keystone hideout camper with a 15k btu a/c unit. I wanted Dual fuel so that if I did run out of gas I could utilize the large propane tanks on the camper. We just ran the unit this past sat at the Mardi Gras parade. I really wasn't any louder than the pusher motor home generators. We ran a full day off propane BBQ tank. This unit is light enough for me and my wife to put in the back of the truck. I will be getting the wheel kit for it later on. This will also run a few items in our house if the power goes out for a long period of time.

I bought this generator almost 3 years ago in case we got a hurricane and power went out. Well did we just get a hurricane. Ian! Took it out of box, added oil, connected Propane and it fired right up. Ran 2 refrigerators a freezer, TV, and a fan. I got 10 hours out of 1 barbacue grill size bottle of propane. Ran it 10 hours a day for 5 days. Changed the oil and put it back in the box, ready for next power outage that I hope never comes.

Having a generator that can operate on gasoline or propane has proven to be a huge value add! We've been to many service stations where the gas my have been in the station's ground tanks longer then most but still good. I'm not a mechanic, but I think vehicles can survive better than generators on this type of gas. So if you're in a situation where you think the gas might become an issue, with the dual fuel unit, you have the option to buy a few propane tanks. Avoid the risk of damaging your unit with potentially dated gasoline.

I use this generator for my power tools, I can use several at the sametime and works great, I also like the convenience of being able to use propane or gasoline and no problem with either fuel. another thing I like its the smooth and quiet operating level, great product

I use this generator 3 to 5 times a week in a food trailer. I LOVE that it is dual fuel. I thought that using propane wouldn't be very efficient but I was WRONG! This little generator has NO problems powering all my equipment. I could not be happier with my purchase.

actually i haven't had a chance to use this genny yet but this is the 3rd champion gen i have owned. My experience has been great with all of them. I bought this one because i needed one that runs with propane. I also have a 3100w inverter gen w/ remote start that is great.

Bought generator to power my RV and backup power at home in the event of an outage as we had last year in Texas. Very pleased with their customer service. Had a minor issue with low oil sensor due to not having enough oil in it. Called customer service and they were helpful in trouble shooting my problem. Will definitely buy another Champion product.

The carburetor came unwelded after the 2nd time using it and the pull string stopped pulling in so we had to remove the cover and wrap the rope everytime we started the generator. I paid for extended warrenty, but was told that these problems were not covered.

I am still inside the 5 hour break in period, but it seems to run perfectly. I am using it in part to run a 80 amp battery charger for a large battery bank (solar) and the rest to run several small appliances. Cranks right off. Does the job I want. This way I can run part from battery bank and part from generator. Then when the load is low, charge the battery bank back up. Last winter's snow storm taught me a lesson!

The generator runs great….. very happy with it. But there was a casting on one of the motor mounts that was broke. The machine was packed very well so in order for the piece to break someone must have dropped it a considerable distance. When I started it, the motor barely vibrates so I made a piece to replace the broken casting instead of returning the machine.
