Got it ready for Hurricane Ian. At first I could not get it to run more than a minute. I contacted Champion and got a great guy who explained to keep adding oil until I could see it hitting the threads of the dip stick area. Luckily hurricane stopped short of my area.

e got this to use for our travel trailer in some remote areas ( no hookups). After unpacking and adding oil. I decided to try it out on Propane. Following the directions exactly, it started on the third pull. After several hours of running time so far, it starts at two or three pulls. We have decided to run it on Propane when camping. Just easier and less of a mess that way. It runs the 13,000 btu air conditioner just fine. also the microwave just not at the same time. That was what we expected for one this size. We can run the air and tv and lights all at the same time. It runs quieter than I thought it would.

Solid basic generator. Priced reasonably. Have started and ran three times without incident. Would suggest to Champion that this basic model come from the factory with a wheel kit installed. At just over 100 pounds it is definitely needed. Based on my personal experience, if asked, would recommend, with the note that it does not come with wheels.

I bought this product for emergency power outage. Have not had to use the product yet, hope not to have to, I have started it after purchase but didn't plug anything in to it yet. Would have been better if the wheels had come with it but was able to fit wheel coasters on it. Satisfied with it at this point. "#sweepstakes"

I use this generator to power my camper, and for emergencies my house. I like the dual fuel and the cold weather start. It is a little noisy but that's what my neighbors say lol. I really like this machine, and would recommend it to power all your needs.

In this island, it is imperative to have alternate sources of power, as the electric grid in PR is outdated, mismanaged and monopolized. Having a generator is a must, if you can't afford solar, and having the dual fuel option was a huge plus, and pretty much the deciding factor in acquiring this unit. The sound produced by the running generator is not too loud, which is great.

This Generator worked great till I changed the oil at 5 hours as per the manual, the oil looked like gray metal flake paint I contacted Champion about it and some of the feedback from them said they were worried about it. Then I a email from Tech Support about this and this person said it was normal he said that's why the recommend changing the oil at 5 house as the piston rings are wearing inside the cylinders this does not sound very good as I am a 50 plus Auto 'Tech and it is against everything know about this?

Followed instructions, added oil and gas, started up on 1st pull. Ran varied load, good so far. Purchased for emergency power and everything use.A little disappointed that it weighs so much, will be a struggle to load and unload, definitely need the wheel kit ,Seems a bit loud .

With RV 120volts, twist lock 120volts and a duplex gfi protected 120volt outlet I'm ready for outages in this booming town. This will easily keep the fridge cool and phones charged. Dual fuel is a first for me and the ease to swap fuels is so simple, I now keep an extra propane tank full for emergencies.

Just purchased our Champion Generator model 100401 to use while we camp. We have only used it for the "break In" time. It runs well and only slowed a bit when we used it with our trailers air conditioner running. It did well using the microwave, lights & TV. It runs a little louder than I thought it would, but if your 15-20 or so feet from it, it's not too loud. We added the wheel kit to help move it as needed. The only thing I'd like to see on this generator is a choke that can be adjusted.
