actually i haven't had a chance to use this genny yet but this is the 3rd champion gen i have owned. My experience has been great with all of them. I bought this one because i needed one that runs with propane. I also have a 3100w inverter gen w/ remote start that is great.

I had no problems getting this thing to run. Hooked up the fuel hose to the inlet, threw the selector switches to the LP position and one crank to start. One issue was that upon moving the fuel selector switch a small spring clip that I think holds the switch in place broke off and flew across the ground. That's disappointing but since I don't intend to use gasoline in this ever I should be able to just keep the switch in its current position without any issues.

I bought this product for emergency power outage. Have not had to use the product yet, hope not to have to, I have started it after purchase but didn't plug anything in to it yet. Would have been better if the wheels had come with it but was able to fit wheel coasters on it. Satisfied with it at this point. "#sweepstakes"

Bought this generator to power our refrigerator, TV/cable and internet as well as LED lights and a fan. Loved the Propane option as we have a buried 120G tank for our pool heater and summer kitchen. Paid gas company to add a connection and hooked directly to generator. Needed some help to get started (the choke controls are not well labelled), but the support line folks were a huge help. Highly recommend this generator.

Followed instructions, added oil and gas, started up on 1st pull. Ran varied load, good so far. Purchased for emergency power and everything use.A little disappointed that it weighs so much, will be a struggle to load and unload, definitely need the wheel kit ,Seems a bit loud .

I used my generator with my RV. When I sold my camper, I sold the generator with it. So when I bought another camper, I of course, I bought another Champion. I use my generator when camping through out the summer months and in the fall when hunting. When hunting, my camper uses a lot of power with furnace running a lot and other acc. My Champion has never failed me. And when I get low on gasoline, I switch to propane which is very easy and convenient.

In this island, it is imperative to have alternate sources of power, as the electric grid in PR is outdated, mismanaged and monopolized. Having a generator is a must, if you can't afford solar, and having the dual fuel option was a huge plus, and pretty much the deciding factor in acquiring this unit. The sound produced by the running generator is not too loud, which is great.

Having a generator that can operate on gasoline or propane has proven to be a huge value add! We've been to many service stations where the gas my have been in the station's ground tanks longer then most but still good. I'm not a mechanic, but I think vehicles can survive better than generators on this type of gas. So if you're in a situation where you think the gas might become an issue, with the dual fuel unit, you have the option to buy a few propane tanks. Avoid the risk of damaging your unit with potentially dated gasoline.

This Generator worked great till I changed the oil at 5 hours as per the manual, the oil looked like gray metal flake paint I contacted Champion about it and some of the feedback from them said they were worried about it. Then I a email from Tech Support about this and this person said it was normal he said that's why the recommend changing the oil at 5 house as the piston rings are wearing inside the cylinders this does not sound very good as I am a 50 plus Auto 'Tech and it is against everything know about this?

Work great during the Puerto Rico power outage we had. Easy to turn on. Very good duration. Able to connect my pump to it. My refrigerator and lights that I needed. I did not expect to use it until hurricane season but with the outage that we confronted it it did his job. Very happy with it. I would recommend it.
