I am not mechanically inclined (at all) but this generator came with easy to understand instructions and fired right up on my first attempt using the propane tank! Living in Florida and going through hurricane Ion was a wakeup call! I now feel 100% confident I will have power for the essentials like keeping the refrigerator cold and the coffee hot!!

Took it right out of the box, filled it with 0.6 quarts of 10-30w oil, connected it to propane, and it started on the third pull. Then, I let it warm up for about 3 minutes with no load. I plugged in the 30 amp power cable from my Work and Play (toy hauler) and turned on the A/C. Since it usually take a few seconds for the A/C to turn on, I ran outside to listen to the generator to see how much it would bogg down. It barely gave any indication when the A/C kicked on, then continued to run smooth. I was not sure if it kicked on or if the generator had a "hiccup". I ran back inside and, sure enough, it was blowing out cold air. I let it run another 10 minutes and everything was perfect. I feel confident this with meet my needs when we go camping!

I have only used this once with gasoline, it was easy to setup from the box and started right up. The mounts for the wheel kit were generic enough that I was able to build my own wheel kit with hardware I already had on hand. I was split on whether to buy a generator and then saw this one for a very reasonable price. Being able to run on propane as well cinched the deal.

The generator had an easy setup. Added oil, connected the propane hose and propane tank, made sure the choke was in run, turned the switch to on and opened the propane tank and on the generator and pulled the string and it started. Super quite too. Cant wait till I actually have to use it.

I got this generator because the power got knocked out and there's no estimated time of repair. This generator will prevent me from having to rebuy all the frozen meat in the deep freeze this time any any other time the power goes out in the future. It was very easy to get set up for use and starter immediately. Great buy and good price!

I love the idea of having propane an gas as option. Now a days you don't know if both will be available when you need it. I ran it on propane so far and it started right up. It's a bit more noisy than the Honda I have but at a fifth of the price, definitely worth it.

I bought this generator for my travel trailer. I did the initial break in which was a breeze. I love that its dual fuel. I did not order the wheel kit since I mounted it to the back rack on my trailer. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

I use this periodically to power the necessary things when the power goes out. Starts up every time and isn't as loud as I thought it would be. It's a great all around generator at a great price. I do wish that it came with the wheel kit instead of charging another $50 for it.

We have been wanting a good generator for our home for a while. Once that uses either fuel OR propane! In case we need to use for Fridge, fans, lights, charging items, microwave, floor heaters - AND we got the plug extender too. Works amazing! Very reliable - all our neighbors want one now - referred them to Champion! My mother uses oxygen at her home 24/7 and she bought one as back up emergencies too! Excellent product!

The first champion generator I bought 6 years ago to run the deer lease generator. I have used it for several hours at a time and it always performs and starts easily. In west Texas the temps can reach 100+ during dove season and mid season trips to perform maintenance. This time I wanted to purchase the dual fuel generator since this last storm front here at home put us on generator for 6 days straight. Gas stations had no power and no gas and here I had 400lbs of propane and no gas. Definitely worth buying the dual fuel generator.
