I got this generator for home and portable use. It starts easy (GREAT) and runs smoothly. My main use is for portable radio communications and it generates no noticeable RFI. It is a slight bit noisier than some but is ok in that department for my uses. Definitely a good product.

Bought this to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season in Florida. Figured the way 2020 was going, we would need it! I was looking for a reliable unit that could run the refrigerator, a couple of fans, a lamp or two. Fired it up, runs perfectly, just the power we need to get through a few days without electric if needed. Really happy the it runs on either gas or propane, and came with the hose for the propane tank.

The setup was easy and started right up on the gas & propane. I installed wheels (some I already had). I tried 2 sizes before settling on 4" ones. It's not real heavy, but awkward & little too much to carry any distance. With the wheels it's a breeze.

I use this generator when we go camping off the grid when camp sites don't offer power. Love this little guy but I did have to buy a set of wheels and put a fold down handle on it to move around much easier but it puts out enough power to run all I have in the camper all at once.

We've only had our generator a couple weeks, but it's so easy to use and we love the propane feature. We don't plan on using gas in it at all. The propane runs for a long time and is very efficient. The generator is easy to start (starts on the first pull!) and is simple enough that I can run it, even though I'm not very mechanically inclined. We did buy the wheel kit for it and like the easy maneuverability. Great product!!

Being able to hook the generator up to a propane tank means there is no fuel left sitting generator's tank. We had a not named here brand generator before that ran on gas only. We had for many years. Unfortunately when we needed it this year, it failed on us. When we lifted the lid to put in the gas, the lining of the lid crumbled on to the bottom of the fuel tank. This will not happen with our new Champion generator. Gas will never need to be left in the tank.

When faced with an extended power outage I bought this generator, brought it home and it up to propane and had it running in minutes. Excellent packaging great directions and works well. Quieter than I thought and fully capable of running essential systems in My Home. I will permanently wire in a transverse switch at sometime in the future. I wish champion Sold one of those!

I purchased my Champion 3500W dual fuel model 100401 generator on a Saturday and put it to immediate use the following Sunday. Put oil and gas in and it started right up on first try. Powered up all my power tools and of course my radio. Use it for backup power at home plan on using it for tailgate parties. Seems to be sturdy and well built and fairly easy to relocate with 2 people although I can move it by myself if necessary. Dual fuel is also a great feature. Overall a highly recommended product.

Bought to use with a recreational vehicle and for power outages during hurricanes. Would have liked to have wheels and electric start, but the combination of dual fuel, low price, and adequate output was enough to trigger my choice. I would like to get a wheel kit and cover as well as a foul weather tent so I can use in the rain safely. The low oil sensor shut off definitely works, and they use a little oil at first, so I had a learning curve to get it to run because of that. The manual explained the problem and I went back and checked the oil.

Bought this to keep the fridge, two chest freezers and the swamp cooler going during power outages, does a great job running them with room to spare for fans and lights. Little louder than I expected, may upgrade to a quiter model but will still go Champion after the good experience. Also happy with my Champion HD cords, a necessity to use.
