I purchased this unit as a portable backup for a large whole house unit. Life in a hurricane prone area often results in long term power outages so for health reasons refrigeration is an absolute necessity. This little generator will run all of our basic requirements in the event of the failure of the big unit. My decision to purchase this unit was heavily influenced by its dual fuel capability and by its relatively low cost. All told, this is a good deal.

I had been searching for a dual fuel generator for a while. I saw this one at Sam's Club and it looked like just what I wanted. I ordered it and had it shipped directly to my house. I was very pleased with the price and how quickly the generator arrived. The generator arrived and it was exactly what I wanted. I'm very happy with it.

We bought this generator a month ago for our 30 amp 26' travel trailer. We wanted to be able to sustain the camper off the grid if needed. Its great! 9hr runtime means a whole night's sleep and having the option of gas or propane really helps. Love this generator! Best buy we've made this year!

This is a powerful generator that I use for camping to power my 26ft, 30amp travel trailer RV. It runs all of the equipment in the RV, including the AC, fridge, and lights just like if you were plugged into shore power. Doesn't require any adapters, and is easy to hook up to a standard propane tank. I keep mine mounted in the front of the RV above the propane tanks. Downsides are that it is heavy and it is very noisy when running. We use it primarily when on the road for longer trips and will power it when we stop at truck stops for overnight or longer breaks. You'll go through a 20lbs propane tank in about 8-9 hours.

We bought this product because our other generator was 32 years young. Where we live we have a lot of outages and you don't want to be without electricity in the heat of the summer for any time. We shopped around and Sam's club price and delivery was a great deal.

I use this generator at my cabin along with a smaller inverter generator for smaller energy demands. I plumbed this unit to my propane pig and have never used gasoline in it. To plumb to the pig I needed to splice into the supply line from the tank after the first regulator. I used a 1/2” copper line that ran 60' to the storage building that houses the generator. There the 1/2” line connects to a Marshall Excelsior Co. model ME951 unit that converts from 1/2” copper to a propane quick connect used by the regulator supplied with the generator. I also added a propane quick connect at the generator so I didn't have to constantly have a wrench handy to disconnect the propane hose. @ $1.75 per gallon it costs about 60 cents per hour to run the generator on propane. There's enough power to run my 5,000 BTU air conditioner a freezer a power saw and a water pump.

Very nice setup and great price..however it is missing two important items; a gas fuel gauge and an engine hour meter. without them doing routine maintenance is guess work as well as knowing when the machine will run out of gas..I really expected more from a champion product. Hard to understand how they missed the basics.

This is a basic portable generator. It didn't have a wheel kit or key start. For the price (on sale at 299.00) it was a good value for the dollar. It was delivered it good shape with no damage. I have started and ran it twice for a total of 40 minutes. No problems encountered. I would recommend if your need's are for basic power backup but not for whole house or heavy air conditioning use. Would be okay for refrig, some fans and lights and maybe a coffee maker or other small appliance. The duel fuel feature is very good and gives you flexibility with gas or propane.

We got this during a area wide power outage that was to last several days. We had it prepped and ready to run in under thirty minutes. The gas/propane option is great. We used gas in the beginning but will now drain the gas but the unit is now stored with the propane for future needs. It started first the first time on the second pull and temps were at freezing. Got the grid and freezer and two large space heaters going with no trouble The system is very versatile. Easy to use and great power for the money.
